The Korean cruise was bursting with color! I am surprised this bag is from this collection! I would buy this bag for sure even if it doesn’t fit my masculine preference! I love it!
I can't believe I fell asleep before the review of this beauty! I would have fallen into the most beautiful Chanel dream! I agree with the co-chatters, this bag is like that Dutch liquorice candy, especially those that are like long worms, I imagine them all assembled in a chevron pattern, smelling absolutely delicious, amazing aroma, very tactile…This bag is a total dream! Seeing how simplified it is I think coco would approve and would have created a similar version as a modern, practical classic. Because after all when it came do the daily nitty gritty, Chanel was a practical gal!
I have the same bag in navy and you were my only SURE source of information prior to purchasing it regarding the type of leather. All resellers keep calling this calfskin! Even though I'd normally try to avoid lambskin, I feel that the finish on this makes it more forgiving and visually durable to wear – which is what prompted me to buy it 🙂
My friend bought this bag when it came out. She bought it instead of a classic. It is still her only Chanel bag which she uses as a classic flap. She could afford to buy as many bags as she wanted to but not everyone is as grazy about Chanel as we are haha. Anyway it was a great and sensible choice! And as many bags as Chanel enthusiasts may have, few will have this exact bag. There really is a beauty in choosing to buy a seasonal piece.
