I have a question- I saw the Makeup Revolution baking powder you featured and honestly my heart is broken cos I GOT THE YELLOW ONE and I thought it was just ME and I had no idea how to apply baking powder because TO EVERYONE HERE if you're thinking of buying it not worth the £5 it just patches up and by the time you brush it off you brush off your foundation and concealer too. :(( It also OXIDIZES and gets super dark so I end up looking like a panda lol
Nikkia, what affordable drugstore baking powder would you recommend using that's in that £5-£10 bracket?

Maybelline foundations, concealers and setting powders are cheapest at chemist warehouse. Foundation is under $10 for the superstay. Aussie girls, save yours $$
Makeup Revolution just is not any good except the backed highlighter all the shadows suck!
The rose toner is lovely but when it gets lower in the bottle it becomes very difficult to get out. I have found another brand Canadian Lise watier which has a rose toner gel with finer petals that I prefer. It’s also less expensive but just as nice
I also hated that makeup revolution powder! I literally used it once and stuffed it away under my bathroom counter. I have normal/dry skin and this stuff made me look like a pasty white hundred year old. Terrible!! I don't even bake because it usually doesn't work out for me so I used the smallest amount and it was not good at all.

Are you sure you used the HIF right? I love that exact Cleansing Conditioner, but if you do not use it correctly ( meaning: leaving it in for the right amount of time), your hair will end up exactly as you described.

OMG! Sephora sells the Tom Ford body wash and it’s $68!!!! Holy cow!!! I have a hard time paying this price for a bottle of perfume. Damn! I’d love to try it tho!!

Also the reason tom ford beauty stuff are expensive is bcos it's created by amazing quality ingredients that isn't going to hurt your skin and wont harm is long term either. So funny i went to the makeup counter at myer and asked the man why it's so expensive and he told me all the ingredients that I can't even remember but it's amazing quality so yeah. Worth it

I need to try this razor! I have chronic back and hip/SI joint pain, and it hurts so bad to shave. I usually forego shaving bc it hurts too bad. Maybe this will be a quicker shave 🤷♀️

Not sure if my legs are odd or not, but my face skin is normal with some dryness in the winter. I haven't shaved my legs, or ahem…pits…in years, decades in fact. No nicks or anything, but I stopped actually in the late 90s because of the rust ring those canisters left in my shower stall & the first apartment I had on my own upon moving out, get this, was charged for that ring! I think my old landlord…ahem slumlord…simply needed any excuse to get a replacement for the bath/shower stall. This building was old too, built in the 50s old, came with a "lead may or may not be found in the paint, wood, flooring, door frames so don't eat any flakes off the above " warning! Yes, it literally said to not lick or eat the walls, flooring, or paint! Anyway, long story short I had to pay a couple hundred bucks for his replacement & basically redecorate the bathroom for a single rust ring. It peeved me off so bad I quit using shaving cream altogether, yes I could've stored it elsewhere I know. But I am stubborn & I can get to a bad place when hundreds of dollars are wasted over a couple bucks in preventive measures or cleaning products are involved.
That's how it started, but I found that I didn't really need the extra moisture to shave within the first month of not using shaving cream. I remember using hair conditioner a few times after reading an article saying if you're in a bind, just ran out of cream that you can use conditioner as a temporary solution, or a permanent switch. But I found it gunked up my razor too badly & the hairs would collect, causing the nicks we all know & love, right ladies & gents?
Got a good lesson after that fiasco, two actually. One: my legs are odd & don't require extra moisturizer. Two: research housing policies, because there's a list of things falling under "normal wear & tear " or something more official, that after living in a rental for past the minimum 6mo, usually over a year-they can't charge you to replace carpeting/blinds/bathroom fixtures like shower/tubs or major stuff like that if it's reasonably worn or minimal staining to the carpeting! Now if it's major damage or large/numerous amounts of stains than yes it's probable you'll be charged for a cleaning service or replacement, but not if it's minor like a damn rust ring! I know I just left a novella, I apologize unreservedly, but there was a story behind it & a moral to the story too.
I like the setting powder, so thanks for recommending it, one of the few things I've bought because enough influencers love it too. Much better than the Coty Airspun, I can't stand the scent & apparenapparently I bought a shaded one, not a translucent one, because it's "Honey Beige" & that casts an orange color all over, is not a cute undereye setter with oompa loompa powder! I know they make an unscented & translucent blend, but again, that bad taste left with not wanting to try out or waste money on something I found a replacement.

You can actually wash your hair with any conditioner! Conditioners contain a small amount of surfactant (basically a detergent) as without it the conditioner won't rinse away. Some people opt to do a CO wash (conditioner only) to extend the length of time between shampoos – the rational being that the surfactant will clean away some of the excess oils but be less harsh than shampoo. So it's somewhere in between a dry shampoo and a regular hair wash. I believe that there are some people who only ever do CO washes. Maybe worth a little research or even an experiment? Xx
It's so nice to see someone recommending a razor!! It seems like nowadays there are so many women saying "if you remove your body hair you're ruining the world by furthering the lie that women are naturally gross." No! If growing your body hair is empowering then getting rid of it can be empowering too! I'm a millennial and that means I want my body basically bald, so thank you for recommending something for that category of personal hygiene! Random rant over
Oh gosh, I wanted to love gingerbread girl so bad!!! but it crumbles, flakes, looks patchy and dry on my lips so bad 😭😭😭😭😭 I just went to ulta and they have it!!! for anyone who's looking for one! it didn't work for my lips but it's stunning!!!! on the other hand…I loved loved loveeeeeeed the 4 mini melted matte christmas edition (don't know the name, sorry!) every color is just beautiful and suuuper comfortable and smell so yummy!!! aaand I saw them at ulta today!!

If you go back and forth with any razor, you won't have to clean the razor. One way shaves, the other way cleans. Try it!
