   Absolutely beautiful purchase Dacob!!! Fantastic!!
   I have a velvet navy Saint Laurent bag that reminds me a lot of this Chanel. The inside is nearly identical! One main difference is the very bottom of mine has leather. I'm not sure how that would look on the Chanel but it does ease my anxiety a lot if I set it down anywhere. On top of that there is inevitable wear to the fabric on the back of the bag as it rubs against your clothing while on your shoulder. Just part of the experience with the material I guess but the fragile elegance that velvet offers is just unmatched in my opinion!    thanks for the tips on inspecting the threads – that's what unfortunately kept me from buying my first Chanel pouch recently 🙁 It had 2 loose threads and then I was kind of put off buying one in general – even one without loose threads. But maybe in the future (in a post-covid19 world) Great video as always. Stay well!! xx

    Dacob, does the grommets on your reissue have the white powdery stuff inside? Do you need to polish it or leave it. i tried to wipe with tissue and some of it is coming off. I don’t know if it’s meant to be there some sort of lubricant for the chains or that it adds some vintage look to the bag.
