Lush How It’s Made: Rub Rub Rub Solid Body Scrub

Scrub, scrub, scrub with Rub Rub Rub Body Scrub for soft, delicately scented skin that you’ll want to show off. Join Yetiani and Mick from our manufacturing team to see how this icy blue scrub is made. First, we melt down tropical illipe and cupuaçu butters to create a moisturizing base, which we add cosmetic-grade color to for a gorgeous light blue hue. Next is our fragrant blend of lemon oil and mimosa and jasmine absolutes, which combine to create a subtle, spring floral perfume. Finally, we mix everything up with skin-softening sodium bicarbonate and cream of tartar, as well as mineral-rich fine sea salt, a natural exfoliant that’ll leave you with the smoothest skin. This finished mix is hand-pressed into molds with beautiful sakura flowers, then the scrubs set overnight before getting popped out and sent to our shops.

    I found that when you have used this for along time it starts to smell like plastic and turns white, How come this happens? I don't have a problem with it and I still use it all the time🐇🌱

    this was my favorite body scrub and still is today. I miss the solid version because lit literally lasted so long- and as much as I love rough with the smooth it just can't compare. This absolutely needs to make a comeback ;;;;;;
