HEY BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE,
I am going to be showing you guys how to make your own DIY glow body scrub and the ingredients needed are basically stuff that you already have in your kitchen.

Body scrubs are skin care preparations with exfoliating properties and are intended to rid the skin of the dead skin cells. consequently, the skin is cleansed, hydrated/moisturized and its natural glow is revealed.

There are a lot of natural exfoliating agents but I’ll be using sugars for my base scrub in this video.

MY DIY GLOW RECIPE
– 1/2 cup white granulated sugar

– 1/2 cup demerara sugar
– 1 tsp turmeric
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 1 tbsp coconut oil
– 1 tsp olive oil
– 1 tsp lemon juice
– few drops of vitamin E – optional
– few drops of peppermint essential oil – optional

since white granulated sugar has very fine granules and demerara sugar has coarse granules, I decided to use a blend of both because this scrub is intended to be a body scrub and not a face scrub and i wanted to get the full benefits of the abrasive properties of the sugars. However, if you’ve got a sensitive skin or you want to use this scrub on your face, then you can use 1 cup of white granulated sugar instead of 1/2 of each.
 
Try to stick to the ratio of oils to sugars so that you dont end up with very dry sugar scrub or watery sugar scrub. if the scrub is too watery then the sugars will dissolve and it will no longer be a scrub.

    I have questions please I did mine today and used , firstly it stains alot secondly it was oily I don’t understand y and I also want to findout if u bath before doing it or u do it after bathing then how long do u allow It on u before washing

    Can you do this scrub and keep without it spoiling because I made a scrub with sugar honey and lemon ones and after some days it started to smell bad

    I would recommend adding some aloe vera gel to make the consistency less crumbly. It’ll make it the same consistency as tree hut scrubs and stuff

    What can I use to preserve it to stay longer? What type of soap and cream is advisable to bath while using this? Because I have a very sensitive dry skin with dark spots on my face🤦
