  1. I'm totally jealous. The fact you can just use any oil you want in cleansing oils without making your face angry is amazing to me. My face is so picky.

  2. Hi! Would you say this balm is similar to the Clinique Take the Day Off one? I’m looking for something that could melt off my waterproof makeup (mascara), this seems about right? I think I should omit the essential oils tho, because I would be using it around my eyes, right? 🤗

  3. Hey Marie I wanted to say I appreciate your videos a lot. What I appreciate most is your thorough and kind delivery to your viewers. I’m able to learn a lot because you give great comparisons to help people decide which ingredients would work best for their products. You also explain things enough for a person to learn to make effective products with precision which I think is very important. Thank you again. Have a great day!

  4. I’d like to try this but I don’t have cetearyl alcohol. So I know I can sub it with cetyl & stearic acid. You mentioned about % of cetearyl alcohol compared to % of cetyl & stearic acid on your other thicker balm. I really don’t know how to adjust 11% cetearyl alcohol to % of cetyl & stearic acid. Pls help. Sorry for the bother. Thank you!

  5. Just love your content… Will you please make a video on some gel-based products using carbomer 940… And what preservatives one can use in it

  6. You create amazing recipes and your enthusiasm shines through to your audience. I especially appreciate learning about the ingredients commonly found on product labels and often (at least in my case) judged to be harmful because of simply not knowing what the heck it is! Empowering us to make informed choices and not just guessing.

  7. I love this formula but the only thing is the eucalyptus & peppermint irritated my eyes. I was also hoping it will also remove my waterproof mascara, but didn’t. Any ingredient I can add to remove waterproof mascara?

  8. Hello Marie, is polysorbate 80 à green ingredient plz? Can we use it in natural cosmetics?

  9. I really enjoy your videos. Youre very funny n entertaining. Awesome formula. Would love to try it 🙂

  10. I love your video thank you for the help . I do have a question does this recipe need a preservative ?

  11. I followed this recipe, but there is one problem: the texture of the product splits after a day. Can you give me advice? (I guess the cause of that phenomenon is polysorbate 80)

  12. Hi! I love your videos this in particular I went on your blog and I know this is an older video but I did not see the info regarding how much ceytearyl alcohol to use in hot climates? Can u lmk whenever you get the chance? Thank you 😊

  13. Is it ok to use mineral oil instead of carrier oils? I’m only gonna use it as a first cleanser and don’t need any conditioning benefits.

  14. Hey Marie. Can I add activated charcoal with it? 🥰 to make it exfoliating?

  15. I made this back in the beginning of the summer and I made it again because I absolutely love this. This melts all my makeup away and it smells so good. I love the texture of this wash.

  16. Thank you for the recipe 💜 I changed by cutting the coconut oil a bit and add some rice bran oil, and replaced the mint oils with lavender oil and magnolia oil- it's lovely consistency, similar to some expensive cleansing balm. Thanks 💕❤️💜

  17. I really love your recipe. I found it a little Grainy or lumpy in some spots so I'm going to take a lot more care in creating it again do you have any tips.
