The problem with having Women smell some random dudes arm who they might not be attracted too physically or his natural body scent chemistry which is determined by genetics and things like diet, and then asking if the scent is sexy will effect their perception of the actual fragrance , using a paper test card is a better idea.
I actually did not like Elixir that much.
I tried one spray on my hand in a parfume shop and it projektet, and that was a super strong sichuanpepper and cedarwood bomb, even after several hours.
Its not listed on fragrantica but even the girl in the parfume shop was shocked and said the whole store now smells strong peppery cedarwood.
I have tuscan leather and that parfume have a strong scent, but this was on a whole other level.
I had it on strip for an evening and it was awful all the time … I don’t know

I think it was a mistake to put 2 large sprays of elixir on one arm, it is very powerful and you don’t need that much. It would have likely been more appealing to those who said it is too strong

waste of money, not worth paying full retail for 60ml, if it was £50 pounds id say maybe, if your stupid enough to pay £100 plus for a useless imitation of the previous version a little stronger in oil concentration then go for it, same applies with the bleu de chanel parfum, they have changed the name on the bottle putting pretty much the same juice from the edp in there and are trying to con you into paying and extra 20-30 pounds into buying it, so you can say i have the new chanel.
In the end of the day elixir is made for middle-aged men and the original sauvage is for guys in their 20s

In all my forty years of wearing and loving perfume, I can honestly say I've never smelled anything so repulsive and cynically contrived. Sad, really. It symbolises all that has gone wrong with recent perfumery. Shame on you, Francois Demachy.

Perfumes are so personal. Interpretation of olfactory elements always differs from person to person. For that reason, I find it funny that we try to find the 'best' fragrance, even if it is a fun game.
Exlier is overrated.
Evryone saying its a good fragrance in the comments are people who blind brought it and now are upset they paid 100 plus dollars for grabage. Get the previous dior suavage trust me don't listen to the hype. The only thing exlier has is performance but smells like toilet cleaner to my nose. (I sampled it when restocking my normal suavage).
Last weekend just bought the elixer. One spray is enough! You will smell it the next day. It's so concentrated.
If you like lavender then this is your fragrance.

I am wearing Elixir now. It is not special to my nose (misses balance and what you call "showergel" and synthetic citrus is just off putting) but I did get a compliment from my hairdresser. If I want to impress with a spicy scent I wear Amouage Interlude.
