Love hearing your reviews Angela. I love the No. 1 foundation too but alo love the No 1 mist which does wonders for my skin midday pricey but worth it to me. I am not impressed with the serum. The Dior backstage concealer is great and I actually bought an extra to keep on my desk for speed touchups like a red nose from a cold before a zoom meeting LOL. Still I also love the Sublimage concealer which is magic on my skin but I am double your age and need the extra help. So many good 2022 products! I wonder what will be wonderful in 2023?
My favorite new or new to me products of 2022: Summer Fridays Skin Tint, Kosas Concealer, Victoria Beckham #2 lipliner, Dior #527 Atelier Shine lipstick, Chantecaille Marigold Lip Balm, Chantecaille Rose Glow Primer Balm, Ilia Multi Stick blushes, Westman Atelier Biscuit Contour Stick, Chantecaille Lotus Highlighter, Bobbi Brown eyeshadow sticks in Smokey Topaz and Mulberry which are both new releases, LaRoche Posay UVMune Cream and Fluide Formulas SPF, several skincare products from Allies of Skin including the niacinamide booster, peptide treatment, multi-hyaluronic acid serum and facial oil. I also liked the Skinmedica TNS Ceramide Treatment Cream as a nightcream mixed with the Allies of Skin facial oil over tretinoin. Biggest disappointment was the formula of the new Rouge Allure Extrait lipsticks from the nude collection because it is much more drying than any of the other Rouge Allure formulas on my lips although I did like the color A Demi Mot. Other lip products that were major disappointments were the Guerlain lip balm and the Valentino Rosso lipstick formula both of which I was lucky enough to be able to return. Foundations I got samples of that didn't impress me enough to buy were the Cle de Peau The Foundation and the Chanel Water Fresh Complexion Touch. I was disappointed by the Westman Atelier stick concealer. It looked great but the glow faded after an hour.
Happy healthy , peaceful and full of excitements, to you and yours 🙏🎄🌴 I love Chanel sublimage concealer. It works for my aging and already hereditary black circles. Now i understand thats its not for you, when i was 35, i would not like lt either. I used to use very little of makeup, black eye pencil, ysl highlighter/ concealer, and YSL faux lash mascara … Chantecaille pink skin tint, is another amazing product, also their lotus collection luminizer ( super natural) WA pink bubble powder, Chanel oversized bronzer, as it comes to eyeshadow, the most two my favorites is chanel Tweed No 4 and LE Vega. Actually LE eyeshadows, to me, are the most amazing eyeshadows ever. Can wait when they restock sorcery. Blush Chanel water fresh , gucci . Love Chanel amber coat for nails. It looks like gold dust, on red nail polish. Mascara Chanel Allure Noir. Chanel coco Mademoiselle oil is amazing discovery , new to me, oh and also Suqqu pre holiday cooler eyeshadow palette and pure color blushes. Have a blessed day🙏🧡

I think the Guerlain bronzers are the same colours every year, but in a different print. I use the the 00 Clair Rosé, Light Cool as a combination of blush/bronzer in one.

Hello Angela ! Such an interesting video ! I think the same as you about complexion. I love the Chanel #1 foundation too and my other favorite ( for years) is the La Mer soft fluid long wear foundation. I bought the Sisley powder last year on your recommandation and love it too as well as the Givenchy prisme loose powder. Thank you for this video ! Happy new year , health , love and happiness ! 🥰

I actually really love the sublimage. When I apply it , it looks really good in my opinion (I compare it to the Armani power fabric which was my holy grail).
Or if I compare with the Tom ford shade and illuminate, which is loved by many- I don’t really like it. I feel it’s too luminous (so I have to powder) and doesn’t sit good on any eye cream. So I have to use it without an eye cream.
Happy New Year! The Chanel No 1 foundation is on my list. Your skin looks flawless and so healthy! My biggest disappointment was the Kjear Weis Tinted Moisturizer – horrid. It pilled, it stuck to dry areas I didn't know I had, settled in to pores for that polka dot look. I tried the blush for the first time this year and love it.
Best was the EXA foundation. Love your list.
Can you tell me what you have on your eyelids? I need a daily subtle neutral color. My eyes are lighter brown with a bit of green in them.
The Prisme Libre compact powder is still working for me, no hard pan yet thank goodness. Love all your choice’s, you have very good taste.

love the chanel tweed number 4 brun et rose so much i got a backup. i will be so sad when i hit pan on both – no other permanent line eyeshadow from any brand is just like it. i have pat motherships and natasha denonas, but the one i reach for the most is brun et rose, followed by dior’s soft cashmere and tom ford’s nude dip.
Thanks for this very fun video! I ❤️ Tweed Brun et Rose and am crying that I didn’t get a backup. I took a chance on Tweed Pourpre and it’s disappointing. Muddy shades that make my eyes look bloodshot. I also love the Chanel Mediterraneen eye palette and was smart enough to get a backup of that. 😁 We have other favorites in common: The Sisley Tinted Moisturizer, Tom Ford Brazen Rose blush, the Chanel Water fresh blush, and the Chanel lip balms. I bought the Sisley concealer and it’s a disappointment; I have mature skin and like the consistency but it seems to make my dark circles more prominent. I adore the Paris Paris fragrance and want the body lotion but it has been sold out. 😢 I have a favorite lesser-known Chanel product, the Eclat Du Desert. No one ever talks about this but it’s a wonderful powder for a fair skin. For me it doubles as a blush and a highlighter. Absolutely brilliant and thankfully is part of the permanent collection. I have re purchased it over and over. Another go to for me is the La Mer cushion foundation. It’s my every day foundation and I constantly receive compliments on how glowy and perfect my skin looks. And I got my first ever Natasha Denona and Tom Ford eye palettes in 2022. TF Nude Dip is amazing and I also liked the hot Khaki and Violet Satine palettes, although I use them far less. I picked up the Natasha Denona Retro Glam palette and that has become my everyday go to for a simple, two shade eye look. Great quality at a nice price point. I’m eagerly awaiting the Chanel 2023 spring eye palette you previewed! Love the color story… something different! Can’t wait to see it when you get it.

They may look a little less exciting, but I found them very useful and they reminded me of the 1990’s Supermodel look. My least favorite was the YSL blushers in a powder. They hard panned quite quickly. I guess I need to scrape off the surface to finish them up. I hope Angela and all of you had a great start of the new year and have a great weekend! 😄🥰❤️💝💕🍀🧧
My biggest disappointment was sadly Rose Inc (it started off promising with the lipsticks, but went downhill quickly after that). The biggest hits of 2022 for me are the Isamaya Industrial Eyeshadow Palette (it's genius), the Makeup by Mario Skin Transforming Enhancer (balm) and the Perfector (powder), and the Patrick Ta Foundation/Powder Duo and the Contour Duo. (Not sure when the Patrick Ta was released, but it was new for me in 2022.)

Please DON’T THROW YOUR POWDERS, sometimes they’re so hard pressed on the pan or the greasiness of your fingers made a hard film on top, it happened to me and the advice from a very professional MA is, very lightly scratch the top with a spatula and that’s it. I saved a very expensive blush from Chanel this way and some other products.
I reallly like the CT Sophisticate palette. Definitely a beauty staple. Perfect for those occasions in life where a subdued, sophisticated look is necessary. Like a wedding, funeral, jury duty, job interview etc. For professional women, I could see this being a favorite.
I’ve hit hard pan a few times with the CT face pallet. I’m very pale and use the medium deep. I like it and want to use it but it’s frustrating having to put sellotape over it every couple of weeks to lift off the hard pan. 🫤
Hi Angela, thanks for this great review. I must be the only person on the planet for whom the Hermes balm works great lol, I have dry mature skin and this is wonderful soothing tinted moisturizer, I tried it in the summer when the A/C was dehydrating my face and I love it. I love the regular Chanel concealer as well as Nars creamy on, I will skip the $95 Chanel concealer thank you very much!!!

Happy New Year Angela! Than you so much for your honest reviews and your open opinion. I really appreciate this as you are always talking the truth. The intense eye shadow palette is one of my favorite one, together with the Guerlain G new eyeshadow palettes. The Chanel tweed ones, i didn't really really like them. And the Chanel holiday i really wish i could return. I hated the nail polish. The highlighter was too dark for my fair complexion and the eyeshadow i wasn't very wowed with it in the end. I loved the Chanel new nude lipstick and nail polish releases. I think was one of the nicest investments i did this year. Saying this the product i think i hated most this year was the Sisley concealer, the color tone is nice but the formulation so hard to work with when you have dry under skin area. Very hard to blend and to spread, i really feel i need to rub hard my skin i order to work it. It claims to be hydrating i think it literally does the opposite. On the other side i love the sublimage concealer. Very easy and very creamy to use, it really pops up the eye and really hydrates the whole time you have it on. I don't like the pot it comes in, but for the rest i think this will be my concealer to go from now on. Another product i loved was the body shimmering oil form Chanel No5. When i feel down it just put some on my arms and chest and it really makes my mood.
I had the same thing happen to my CT bronzer. I believe it dried out. 😢

I bought the Hermes Complexion Balm after trying a sample sachet. I thought it made my skin look so good – evens out my skin tone, it looks natural and wore beautifully through the day. I shared the sample with my sisters and they could not believe how beautiful the finish is on herself. However, were we in a hot tropical humid climate and when I came home to a drier climate, I was horrified to see how terrible it is. I could not believe the difference!! Nothing else changed other than the climate.
The other thing I noticed, it works best with fingers and currently, I would apply sunscreen and mix the foundation with a small amount of sunscreen again to lighten the texture for my foundation step. Thankfully, I shared the 40ml with my sisters. Also, it only has a 6-month shelf life.
I’ve ordered the Sublimage concealer- hoping it will be good for my extremely dry under eye dark circles. As an example, the Sisley concealer is too dry for me. I will let you know! Also, I ordered the KW Cream blush in Reverence. Thanks for you candid reviews! Love your channel ❤

Thank you for you hits and misses of 2022. It truly gives a great overview of the makeup and skincare to look out for and ones to just get samples of to see if it works for me. It’s a wonderful money and time saver. I’m 59 years old and my skin is beautiful with minimal lines, I’m truly blessed to have inherited that from my mother. Since I use all of the Sublimage skincare and makeup it helps me keep this young glowing skin. I do like the new Sublimage under eye concealer. It doesn’t smudge or move on me. It stays in place and doesn’t sink into any fine lines that I have (like I said, I only have a few) so, it’s a must have in my book. The smallest amount is needed and perhaps trying a smaller amount might help get the effect you are looking for. It truly lasts all day on me. Again, thank you for the overview and it reminds me of things I need to try.

I found the Vanicream facial spf. I have Rosacea and extremely reactive skin and this spf is perfect.

I use the Chanel cream bronzer in 390. We have same skin color. How do you like the 392? Isn’t it too dark for you ?
My major disappointment was La Mer. J.Lo loved it, so I bought it once at an airport. That night I broke out in hives. Most expensive disappointment. I never bought La Mer again.
I just love the eyeshadow you have on. Please tell me what it is. Hopefully it is not the sold out tweed collection by Chanel. Love your videos and how natural you are .
