I kind of figured that you weren’t wearing your hair curly anymore. I’m on the same path, I’m over my curly hair and I’m going to be wearing it straight from here on out but unfortunately I have to get my hair done at a salon because I suck at straightening my hair lol

I would love to see how you straighten your hair! 😸 I can relate to hating curly hair. My hair was straight as a kid and when I got older it got curly and I hated it. I’ve learned to like it now but I sure didn’t for a long time!

I was straight only till like 16/17 big chopped and now it’s just curls
I use to get mad straightening my hair bc it would always puff up and took forever to do (I have thickkkkkkkk 4c/4b hair)
My scalp never gets oily, it only gets drier as the days go on. So when I straighten it on occasion, by like day 4, my scalp is flaky 🥺 I don’t think it’s dandruff, I think it’s just dry flakes, so I don’t know how to treat it 😭 it’s also dry when I wear it curly but I shampoo once a week & wet it 2x week.
I grew up with racist family members who would make comments about how my hair looked like a nest or would ask me “why don’t you straighten it?” Shit like that sticks with you!

Omg ive always told people to use good shampoo & conditioner & they be like "it doesnt matter".. I've used Biologe my whole life (& shimmer lights bc i have highlights & bad water) but if i use something cheap my hair feels awful. I used to use an aveda serum before blow drying but i use Chi now for straightening lol. I have a Pro Cabello straightener in zebra print lol & it's worth the money! Good vid girl! I see those subs going up too!💜

I saw your video about being over your curly hair & I am too. Ive had it curly always but I'm so tired of spending so much money trying products that don't work and having my hair not look the way i want it to. My mom has straighter hair with loose bouncy curls and she too prefers it straight, I've always felt a little bad for saying I wish I had gotten her hair but I really dont think it's that big a deal lol I am done fighting with my hair 😅

UPDATE: Sooo I used a few of the products that you recommended plus the BaByliss pro flat iron and I am SUPER happy with the results I got and I usually suck at straightening my own hair! And it was SUPER soft and shiny 😃 so thank you for this video! Oh and the flat iron is the best flat iron EVER!

Then you brought the twin turbo out I was like YES YES YES!! lol… I also have the Dyson cuz my wrist so I switch for certain hair types.
