I stayed in a female-only capsule room inside a hot spring inn (カプセルホテル 女性専用).
The hot spring inn is located in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan (札幌 北海道 日本 温泉旅館).
The inn name is Jozankei Shoten HATAGOYA (定山渓商店 旅籠屋).
Jozankei Onsen is one of the 3 major hot springs in Hokkaido.
It is a very popular hot spring resort because it is easily accessible from the center of Sapporo.
This inn is a renovated 47-year-old architecture.
The capsule room “HATAGONONAKA” is for women only.
It’s more expensive than other capsule hotels, but you can stay at a hot spring inn at a great price.
The guest rooms are very spacious unlike normal capsule hotels. And the ceiling is so high that you can stand.

Such a lovely-looking place. Too bad about the Sake rule. You would have to arrive really early in the day to polish off one of those bottles before you left. The food lood great, and it really puts North American hotels to shame.

Thank you for this video. I would love to stay there. I love how the rooms are set up. Are there private hot springs? Do they have drinks like coca-cola? I do not drink alcohol. I would buy socks and toothbrushes.
