EDIT notice the Brits don't get paid close to what US entertainers get but produce more civil, more real, more funny, more entertaining TV. WHY? Why can't the US make such hilarious shows.. because the US public has been dumbed down to the level of needing to be told how to think. The American audience want the same old jokes re packaged, while the Brits are fully open to laughing at reality. Amazing how different the two cultures have reject oppression. The US embraces oppression calling it American values the public choses to be minions to the falsehoods of capitalist marketing. While the Brits have learned to accept the value of capitalist socialism. Which culture is more mature in the end? I stand with the British way.
