The in-game start date for the episode was the 14th of Syndestar in the year 843. Sam’s gas can is a collection of parody Dall-E images (Sam-E) for the prompt “Travis vs. Ham”. Dall-E is an image generating AI that was popular on Twitter.

Dungeons and Daddies is a biweekly comedy DnD podcast that I bounced off of a year or so back. However, I decided to check out their Season 2 which recently began, and it is truly the hardest I’ve laughed in a while. Extremely funny characters and world, great music, worth a listen.

Any moments I missed? Feel free to post them here. Is it Thursday yet?

  2. Erika is fucking amazing. That shift when the party left. The fact she said monkey when she was sleeping, like reciting the facts she knows about Fearne. Incredible 👏👏

  3. I don't understand how someone joins this show without ever watching it before.

  4. Yea, we just watched a part of this where a bunch of kind hearted people ACTUALLY CONSIDERED forcing FCG into slavery. Thank you Matt for being an amazing DM and in the most kind/intellectual way say, he's not a robot but an actual being. FCG is soul touches

  5. Well shit. Guess i'm back to watching all of the intro ads again. I can't risk missing something else this glorious. lmao

  6. “We go over, pick a fight, talk some shit and then we win and make money” – Travis Willingham, CEO of Critical Role

  7. 3 minutes in and that's already the best thing I have ever watched in my entire life.

  8. Oh my gods… it feels so good to consume a bit DnD media that is not this horrible shit show of WotC terribility and their Demon Lord at hand called OGL! I love that calm and kind atmosphere so much!

  9. I’ve never met an Erica that isn’t completely obnoxious, this one meets and goes beyond expectations

  10. I am sure it was a heavy influence for Bassuras I get heavy Mos Espa vibes with the podracers and Watto and all that

  11. Oh lord, that scene at the end at Imahara Joe's, and Laura's grin just growing wider and wider while Sam and Matt were acting… I'm surprised she managed to hold it in that long.

  12. Can someone explain to me wtf is up with Orym’s perception?? 26 passive and advantage on all rolls? How’d he pull that off at level 6?

  13. What is Fearne's infatuation with trying to find a way into F.C.G. trying to shut him down by stealing parts?

  14. I went through a lot of comments. I am not surprised the fandom ven diagram crossover between 40k and CritRol is so small I didn't see any "Red makes it go fast!" 3:30:00.

  15. "Some smuggling. Who doesn't love smuggling? Smuggling is just a vacation that someone else is paying for" from Taliesin
and "This plan seems destined to fail, which means it's doomed to succeed." from Travis are two golden lines given back to back.

  16. Erika is such a fun player to watch! Also, the fountain pen issue is 100% me. 😂

  17. Wow, I also just realized that when Imogen mentally spoke with Fearne’s mom she never mentioned Dusk, she was only concerned and mentioned Fearne

  18. Obviously they don't know so it's not their fault but when they were quizzing Dusk I was screaming at them to insight check (around 3:59:00)
