We spend a lot of time in our cars and need to know some handy lifehacks to ease life. In this video, you will find a lot of brilliant ideas like what to do with foggy windshield, how to check tires, how to make an inexpensive phone holder and more tips every driver should know.
Let’s start from a perfect DIY anti-rain solution for your car. You will need paraffin and white spirit. Mix some paraffin with white spirit and carefully apply to the car windows using a dry piece of soft clothes. You will totally like the result! This solution improves visibility for the driver on the road.
Toothpaste is an awesome tool to polish cloudy car headlights. Clean headlights using toothpaste and a piece of cloth. Check out how to make DIY smartphone holder for your car that you can make in one minute using only a binder clip and rubber bands. Attach the binder clip to a vent in your car. Wrap the rubber bands around the handle and attach the phone.
If you are crazy about the order, we have a perfect lifehack to keep your car cleaned. Use paper cupcake liners to keep cup holders in your car perfectly clean. Use plastic containers to keep the trunk organized. If you ever got caught with flat tire there is a genius solution: get a scissor jack, a drill, and a big circle hook.
Use coins to diagnose tires. Watch our tutorial! There are several popular ways to check your tire tread depth. One easy way is the penny test – insert a penny into your tire’s tread groove with Lincoln’s head upside down and facing you. If you can see all of Lincoln’s head, your tires are fine. If not – you need new tires.

  1. Are any of you couchbound critics doing ANYTHING with your brilliant powers of perception? Oh good. I am less worried about the state of the world now you're on the job, telling someone who IS putting out the effort. Why don't you go get into a duel with someone your own size? I think a fire ant brigade would have something more useful to offer… UGH.

  2. 😂😶 seriously, Tips for Parking?! These are things you HAVE to learn before you get your license. If you're watching these and learning something from them, you shouldn't have your license yet! Anybody who parks badly as shown already KNOWS they're not allowed to or shouldn't, they just don't care.

DO NOT TAKE DRIVER'S EDUCATION FROM YOUTUBE!

  3. the tyre changes…you are swapping some from front to back on the same side. surely the front tyres should swap with each other, the back with each other, then the opposite from front to back some time later. That's the most logical imo.

  4. Open the window so you will get submerged faster. Instead, open the sunroof and get out. With windows shut, your car will float longer since water will leak in slower.

  5. I eat so many snacks in my car so I really appreciate the one with the muffin tin lining. A major hack to a clean car is getting it ceramic coated. Ceramic coating literally CHANGED the clean car game for me because any debris just glides right off. If you're in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area detail doctors is the place to go for a quality ceramic coating that last years

  6. I own 2 Toyota's. One has over 200K miles and the other over 300K miles and both run like new! What's my secret? I use car care software https://youtu.be/3LUayHH1yZA to monitor each vehciles maintenance schedule and remind me when anything is due for service. I generally do all my own maintenance so I know it's done right 🙂

  7. Foggy window? Turn on the front defroster and throw ketchup pockets on the dashboard
Use vaseline on dashboard, park your car in a hot parking lot let that oil evaporate and stick to your windows, fogging them up worse 😀

  8. dont rotate youre wheels like shown in this video
you can change front to back on the same side but if you cross mount them right front to left rear and vice versa you change the rotation of the tire and that will just increase wear , besides that it can cause the cord layers inside the tires to separate from the rubber in extreme cases and some tires with asymetrical profiles have a direction of rotation to start with some even have a inside and outside marked on the tire
you can allso leave them where they are , if they wear unevenly (like a sawtooth pattern or heavy wear on the inside or outside of the tire ) have the car aligned and if there uneven bald patches on the tires have the shocks tested
if the steering wheel vibrates have the tires balanced , if the steering still vibrates again have the alignment checked
if the fronts wear faster than the rears , just replace the fronts once there worn and the rears at a later date , moving the tires around just makes them wear faster and you have to pay to replace all four tires in one go

using the spare tire when replacing wheels is a good one , even when not in use tires dry out if you can find the same tire for the other side use the best of the used tires as a spare and safe some cash

  9. This was no value – no explanations or instructions, NO ONE KNOWS HOW TO COMMUNICATE !

  10. Hack 1….. why not just buy glass sealant that will do the same job without corroding the rubber seals?

  11. The jack one is just scary.
For anybody planning to do any work on their car please please don't use the jack that comes for changing the wheel. These things are lethal!

  12. I am forever grateful for this video! Thank you! 🥰✌🏻 I especially appreciate “Which car are you gonna take home?” I hope people will wise up and pay attention. 🥰

  13. For the left lane drive part, it may not be the right advice for right hand steering countries, just my thought maybe I am wrong.
