  2. Hi Nadine, gorgeous as always and so natural, can you do very best eye creams, which are mid range price….. That are tried and tested by you or colleagues,, please x

  3. Loved this vlog Nadine and love your nails, always immaculate and chic! I Would really like to see a vlog on tried and tested anti-ageing eye creams xx

  4. Great vlog! I love and use the shellac colours that you have mentioned here as well.
Lately, I am concerned about the UV lights use to cure shellac as I have heard from my dermatologist that they are prematurely aging the skin. She also warned me about a low risk of skin cancer. Can you please comment on that?

  5. We really do need to be very careful indeed where we get our nails done. I know to avoid the oriental nail parlours as they are the ones who do all the heavy electric drilling/buffing, which makes nails so thin and weak. We need to do lots of research and asking around to find the right people. Also check which products they use, as some last better than others. I get my nails done by a fantastic lady who works from her home. I struck lucky first time thankfully, but she has really educated me about the bad salons. She has had to refuse some customers who has had their nails completely ruined by bad salons, as they are beyond saving until completely grown out again. My lady is so good that I only need my nails done every 3 weeks. Sadly my lady is retiring soon, but she has already recommended me to a good salon which I will change to.

  6. LOVED this. It's definitely about who does the Shellac and how (removal, not least), plus – in my case – my nails getting used to it somehow.
It trashed them at first, whoever did it. However, I tried again after a break of a year and now it renders them long (well, long for me) and strong. Now I'm an every-two-weeker, like you.
Different phase of the moon perhaps?

  7. Many years ago during the early 1980s Mary Quant made the best nail polish base and top coat I have ever found. The top coat had a non fade plastic like flexible feel, and honestly made my polish last for 3 weeks without a single chip, scratch or break EVER. I used the brilliant ridge filling base coat with the top coat, and could use absolutely any cheap coloured polish in the middle. I only ever needed to replace it because my nails had grown too long, and the gap between the cuticles showed too much. Mary Quant then suddenly stopped making their amazing miracle product, which was a massive disappointment as it was totally irreplaceable. I do wonder if 'someone in the know' decided to destroy the formula simply because it was TOO good and totally indestructible (hence not so profitable). I can honestly say it was even better than a professional gel manicure, as it lasted so much longer. Do you remember or know anything about this Nadine?

  8. Hi Nadine – Love this and thank you for your great videos always wondered about the colour on your nails. Want to say a huge thank you for recommending Paula's choice as a moisturiser. i have on your advice switched to spending more on a serum and less on a moisturisers so it was goodbye to CDLM for me … I am loving Paula's choice. I would really love advice /video on best foundations as I am moving into Autumn and looking for a little more coverage. Thanks for being the best beauty vlogger out there.

  9. I would love to elevate from my local salon. I get gel nails done as my own nails are so thin, weak and split. I tried finding places online and the one that came up uses drills. May be a stupid question but how to you find who is good and doesn't use tools that they shouldn't be?

  10. Fantastic Vlog as always Nadine although most nail technicians in Ireland buff when using Shellac so the nail plate is always weakened and over time, this leads to weak split peeling nails!

  11. Don't know how I missed this video! I have CND gels every two weeks to it's my treat to myself go to local salon have a nice chat and laugh with the girls there have a fab time. I cut mine every two weeks as prefer them short nowadays. I went to a local girl working from home a couple of times and she filed the gel off I was horrified. Didn't go back. 😘😘

  12. I am completely infatuated with long nails and hair. I have the hair, however, my nails are like paper. Your nails are stunning!!!

  13. Hi. What were the names of the hand creams? Would you consider showing us an outfit+ accessories?

  14. I love my nails too.working in a messy environment keeps me from having treatments….boooo! Lol!
But I also have eczema on my left palm, and dry hands,so might try the clarins hand cream.xx

  15. I love shellac but it last as long as nail, polish on me 😢. Don't know if there's any truth in it but someone at Ragdale Hall suggested it may be my blood pressure meds. Boo. How on earth do your hands stay so young if you don't use gloves……amazing! X

  16. Nadine, can you please do a video about long lasting nail polishes, that we can do at home (not gel)? After trying most of them over the years, my favourite is definitely OPI. I can easily get my manicures to last 2 weeks now, only by using OPI. It would also be a good idea for you to give all the good and helpful tips for manicure longevity, Not everyone can afford to go to a nail salon, but still want a good long lasting nail polish. xx

  17. you express yourself beautifully with your hands. they are very beautiful! !

  18. Oh Nardine you really are amazing I love the shallic nails PLEASE can you tell me where you buy

  19. Hi Nadine 🤓love you love your channel ❤️your hands and nails are absolutely gorgeous. You could hand model for sure . Xo

  20. Yellin for Water Mellon is the perfect summer nail polish color, my absolute favorite.
Unfortunately it is no longer available in the US.

    I quite enjoy your videos!
    Thank you, Theresa

  21. I treat myself to a gel manicure from the Vanity Projects in nyc. They have amazing artists and use good products.

  22. I used to shellac/gel regularly. However, my nails thinned over time, and looked horrible. I love the look. Maybe I need to find a new salon!

  23. Happy New Year Nadine

    Question:

Do you use a CND Shellac Brisal Dryer vs LED ir UV??

I found a nail salon that does CND Shellac Mani with CND base and top coat but NOT CND Brisal Dryer.

Should I still do it there?

    Thx
