Hello Friends! Here is the link to my NEW shampoo video with a couple of added ingredients and more options (plus better lighting and sound): I do hope you will check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbkGSgAppZ0
How long does it take for your hair to adjust every time I try to wash my hair with this it ends up being very weird feeling and almost like soap coded and very hard to brush I have somewhat dry hair but this kind of leaves my hair feeling a little bit like it’s not clean and I’m sure that’s just Hass to go through an adjustment. For a while about how long to detox hair before it starts working well for me possibly
Ho Heidi. Can I have your soap making recipe please. Ty. 🙏
I just made your recipe and it smells wonderful. I was wondering how do you store the infused water?
What do you use to condition your hair
Looks great, your hair!!! Im making mine soon😁😁
Oh I wish I had a garden, but I do have rose, tyme, basil, rosemary mint, infusions to use.
Would you be able to use this for cleaning during a bath in a stream or lake? I have been searching for a shampoo/soap that was edible in theory, which you could use on a hike and wouldn’t be harmful to nature in any way😊
Does this also work for beards? My husband keeps thinking he needs a different shampoo for his beard than normal hair shampoo.
Hola, por favor puedes poner los ingredientes en letras, soy de Ecuador y se poco ingles y me interesan tus vídeos, gracias.
How do you persevere ?
After draining herbs out would you use the same herbs and do the process once more or start with another fresh batch of herbs?
How do you filter your rain water? I didn't see a video on that.
I just made this yesterday but it keeps separating
I made this wonderful recipe today with rose, lavender, caledula, rosemary, sage, aloe vera and left over home made soap flakes, but mine turned dark green instead of brown. My herbal infusion was a pretty reddish brown until i added the soap then it turned dark green. I am assuming everything is ok, but being my first time I hope I am right. It looks like yours turned green also and maybe it will change to brown in a day or two Looking forward to giving it a try. I also used my leftover oil infusion flowers in the water as they still smelled good!
If I add teatree oil will it help with dandruff? Or is there something better that smells better?
Castile soaps, especially Dr Bronner, are a disaster for my hair, skin ,tub, sinks and everything else it touches. It is very drying and leaves an enormous mess behind it.Everyone I spoke to has the same issue.Probably the water we have must be rich in minerals,or some weird reaction going on.
just FYI people- she's pronouncing that wrong. it's not cas-steel soap. it's pronounced cast -til -lay. it's mediterranean being 100 % olive oil soap. I pronounced it as casteel soap years ago also until someone corrected me too. and ty to them. great shampoo ideas here though.
Hi Heidi, Thank you for another great video. At 68+ I'm learning so much and appreciate the work you put into each video.
I made my own lemon vinegar after watching your "vinegar making" video and used THAT to rinse my coarse & dry hair after shampooing. My hair had more volume. but it felt dryer. I also tried using my usual conditioner followed up with a vinegar rinse. That also left my hair feeling dry. Do you have any other suggestions that I might be overlooking? I haven't made the herbal shampoo yet, because I only grew rosemary and basil and wanted to purchase some of the other dried herbs first. I'm hoping that the herbal infused shampoo will add some healthy benefits so prevent my hair from feeling so dry. I can hardly wait to try it out.
Hi,I have soap nuts at home and would like to boil that in instead. Also have a aloe plant
to use.Could you please advise?
Blessings from UK
Do you need to refrigerate the shampoo do to the water to preserve it??
What's the best way you dry your herbs? I'm starting an herbal garden but Im just a beginner.
I like your style & approach to things!
Which manual food processor do you use? (The link shown is broken)
