One of pet my peeves is dry hands. Since my early 20s I’ve lugged around jars, tubs and tubes of lotions and potions to combat this on a daily basis. I totally agree with you about Clarins – it's the best hand cream around in my opinion as it's just not greasy at all, but it smells of cigarettes! My kids have banned me from putting it on in the car because the perfume actually makes them feel sick, but I still use it because it soaks in so fast. Another good one is from an Irish brand called Green Angel – they have some beautiful body products, in particular their body exfoliators (divine!!) and they've a great foot cream. You should check it our Mary – nice to support local Irish brands too.

I have the same problem. i’m super tough on my hands and my hands are. super dry. i keep hand cream everywhere too but the hand sanitizer is killing me right now. C.O. Bigelow Rose Salve is amazing. not sure you can get in Ireland though. it’s a NYC brand. I also love Kiehls!!
Wonderful idea! Hand washing has been rough (I love Cerave Baby currently), and my nails have really suffered too! After buffing nails, I rub a drop or two of squalane or rosehip or something in and wow, my nails have been so shiny and sealed. Dawn's Life over 40 gave me that tip.
I thought I was the only one obsessed with finding THE best hand cream in the world. The hunt for the 10 out of 10 one never stops for me although it occasionally pauses when I find something I really like, and it’s on pause at the moment as I am really enjoying Camille Beckman Glycerine Hand Therapy Cream Unscented. It’s probably the nearest to 10 out of 10 that I’ve ever used.
I adore the Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment cream. I also adore the smell. I can't stop sniffing my hands when I use it. Each to their own I guess. If they take the smell out I would probably not want to buy it anymore.
