I have always admired the way French women can put together simple classic sweaters, tops, leggings, pants into great fashionable looks. I can imagine spare closets with outfits that can be coordinated so easily. Parisian Chic, a style guide by Ines de la Fressange is a wonderful guide to the fashion secrets of French women. My daughter and I have done a collaboration involving a trip to her local Goodwill to find outfits inspired by Parisian Chic.     Just got back from NYC, was very hot. I am enjoying maxi dresses in cotton to withstand the heat this summer in South Beach. For me the best time to be on the beach is after 6 pm … truly lovely 😊

    I remember having 20 white tops when I was young. Have never gtten back to that. Have looked, but… Good staple though. Just a boat neck tee and a long sleeved blouse now. They did have nice tops in white. No trouble finding slacks. I did geta fashion degree. Maybe just need to shop or sew more!

    After I get frustrated browsing stores my last resources always is going to Thrift store and always coming back home happy with my shopping, i just don't buy shoes or hats there because of the hygiene .

    Just found your video. I love polka dots, and your red scarf is divine. Been to Paris a few times. Loved it. Wish I had learned French as a child because it's hard for me as an adult. Love the song in your video. Now I'm thinking I'd love to take a road trip to Chicago Goodwill stores. Would welcome more videos showing you putting together more Parisian outfits and combining styles worn in Paris. Lately I've been at Goodwill often in my area (and near a friend's place in Indiana), but haven't found what I like in the clothing area. I've been getting other things I needed like cameras, charger cords, markers & always looking for art supplies, tote bags, xmas ornaments – a few fun musical ones I never saw before, healthcare items (ex. a forehead temperature reader greatly reduced) and even a book on dating when you're older. Thinking of starting up knitting again, so found a great deal of supplies. Speaking of Paris, I found a replica of the Eiffel Tower and a 3D Eiffel Tower puzzle at Goodwill recently. We had an art supply store that would put on a Parisian event & sell supplies for things we tried making, but unfortunately, the owners sold the store as they had retired.

    Always have some special dress or shorts, sandals and make up!!!

    I have become more excited about shopping my closet since I have watched your channel! Especially for an upcoming trip I have on the horizon! I recently bought a cute throw on dress at Walmart for $10. I plan to pair that with my Hermès scarf that I purchased in London in 1984. I’m excited about it! People think I spend a lot of money on clothes but I don’t. A couple times a year I frequent Dillards in search of mark down shoes and find many good buys. I usually do not pay more than $20 a pair. Purses also. I shop a little bit more when I am in Florida because the selection is so much nicer. My hometown doesn’t have a lot to offer however I have found in the past couple of years that Walmart has some white stepped up their game in fashion. I do like Walmarts activewear. Thanks for this this was so fun to watch. I also love white blouses almost anything in white!
