  1. Dear Sandra, even though I am only "60" I agree with you on the effort many of us have to make to get out and exercise. My husband and I are just like you two when it comes to being active – so I know exactly what you are talking about. However, after getting out I feel better and happy that I made the effort. I am going to call my local Y and see if they still have classes …..because of this video-Thanks a million

  5. Hi Sandra, I tried the Boom Sticks but didn't like them. I felt like they were tubes of colored Vaseline. They are not cheap either. Yes, I have heard that exercise is the best medicine. I go in spurts when it comes to exercise. Another great video and I love your top. Pretty colors🎈

  9. Hi Sandra from the UK i have found this article very useful thankyou. My daughter has quite severe mental ilness she has borderline personality disorder and an avm which she has had gamma knife radiation for and we will know next year if the treatment has removed the avm. She has partial seizures too. Sadly her 3 year old daughter was adopted as she was just too unwell to care for her and we miss her so. I have depression also and i read about your son so just wanted to make friendly contact with you here. I have been advised to take more exercise for my mood, i just have to motivate myself 🙂 lovely to meet you here sandra

  10. Oh Sandra, I am prone to be sedentary also…AND…my husband is just like yours…during waking hours, he rarely sits still…always moving…he never ceases to think about what he is going to do next. Thankfully, he sleeps well…he is early to bed and early to rise. As for me…I am a night owl…one who has a very hard time shutting my brain off…thankfully when I do finally retire for sleep I sleep well. I totally agree that once I do get up and out I absolutely feel more energetic and peaceful. I tend to be very reclusive and because we live rurally, my contact with others is very limited but well appreciated when I do get out and about. Thanks so much for another wonderfully informative and thought provoking video…!!!!!

Sandra, thank you so much for the reminder that we need to MOVE (if we are able)……. our bodies are not meant to just sit… I am way too sedentary…. long story short.. my husband passed away about 3 1/2 years ago the day after his 52nd birthday due to an accident.. I was 56 when he passed….. and I have been "sitting here ever since"… Monday, January 14, 2019 is my 60th birthday.. time to get ready for the next phase of my life.. as a single woman you Inspire me and truly a Blessing in my Life now… Take care….   18. Thank you Sandra for your interesting video. I completely agree with you. I'm sorry to hear about your brother-in-law. Living in CA I have to say that in this state lots of people exercise or walk/run daily including myself. Our weather is perfect for that. I'm almost 80 years old and exercise daily with one of Mere's great youtube videos. It helps by increasing my metabolism and helps with my joints. I used to walk daily but since the tendents in my feet started to hurt, I'm substituting daily exercise instead of walking. I believe when people want to exercise there is always a way, and as you mentioned essential to keep healthy, happy and in good shape! Thanks again and best wishes to you!
