I do prepoo. Using just oils doesn't work well for me, so I mix my oils with my conditioner and a little water for more slip. It's amazing, actually. I adore your hair, sis. I was complaining about my type 4 hair and how much I wished I had type 3, but all that changed I when I saw yours😍❤
So oil is better to use then prepoo products … I have issues with my hair getting tangled but I just cut my hair 🤦🏾♀️ so maybe it won’t be that bad on wash day. 😁 Yes, I’m new at this but learning different ways to manage my hair.
Oh so I use conditioner as well as a prepoo …. this will be my first time about to try prepoo which I think will be better.
My hair hates a conditioner prepoo not sure why. I have to add water or the oil wont help either.

I think conditioner and hair have the same positive charge to them so they repel each other (when hair is dry). Oil is neutral so it will actually be able to stick to and get into the hair, where conditioner will leave a film on dry hair. I think using an oil on dry hair or conditioner on wet hair (like in the shower) would be best. But I don’t know anything about curly hair or black women’s hair in particular so please don’t take my word for anything :P. Just wanted to share this!
The left side/ oil prepooed side looks better! You can go out after the oil prepoo phase. HOWEVER I've also noticed I get a lot of tangling with just oil but i didn't do the shedding routine. Thanks for the video
