Silicones are known to be harmful to hair even though the young lady has pretty hair at this time it would be a shame for her to be Ball 3 years down the road I have done quite a bit of research I Googled harmful ingredients found commonly found in shampoos and conditioners and I found over 15 listed that are commonly used and among them are silicones that's in the product she's talking about sodium lauryl sulfate is another culprit I don't know if it's in hers but it's very common in shampoos and it's a harsh ingredient that does not have to be in shampoo.

OK my back story first then I need advice. I'm 52 and beginning the hormone change. My hair is now gray and thin and I just got it cut off from really long. It was just unhealthy looking. It was falling out and breaking off. Hair was everywhere. I use Pantene for volume right now but now that is short I am wanting to use this time to nourish my scalp and hair so it's in better shape. No my question is, Is the Aveneeo the best or the teatree mint? I've tried the gardier in the past and it leaves my hair oily. Also have tried Herbal Essence and it drys out my hair. I've tried so many things. So what do you think? Oh I do not style, or dye my hair anymore and haven't for a few years. I just want healthy beautiful gray hair my husband will want to touch lol
I stopped using silicones about 10 years ago and my hair has been terrible since then. I have tried everything to get it back to how it was and nothing is working.

Hey just wondering if anybody could help, I am 12-13 years old and have very thin hair that often gets dry at the ends after I allow my hair to grow out a lot however other than the ends my hair is very soft, smooth and hydrated and I wash it every 2 days or so. As of now I haven't dyed my hair or anything but in the next week or so I'm going for an appointment to get a small amount of highlights and a trim and another thing that may be helpful to know is my hair is naturally curly ( not specifically looking to enhance that ) but I prefer to keep that hidden by straightening my hair often, can anybody give me any advice on my hair?
