Ahh the memories. Since this reviews original publication I have amassed maybe 10 or 11 bottles of Eden from varying periods of time 🤣 Each one just as fascinating as the other.
You advised me a while ago to spray behind the knees, you were right Dacob. For me this is a perfume that needs to be admired from a distance.
The bottle looks like something Elsa Peretti would design

Back in 1994, Eden was the swan-song of the 1980s, kicking and screaming against the likes of CK One or l'Eau d'Issey. Whenever I smell it, it brings me back to those years, a friend of mine wore it in 1994 and 1995.
The shape of the bottle has always reminded me of the gold etching on the Lanvin Arpège bottle.
Side note: the U in Guichard is silent 😉

Daaaacob! Im loving this review… Guess I'll have to get me a bottle of eden now as well. Adore those 80's and early 90's greens. Speaking of which – have you ever tried "Volupté" by Oscar de la Renta..? Would love to hear your opinion on that one as well..
