Thankyou for saying it! The glow tonic broke my skin like crazyyyy. I don’t think it’s worth the hype at all.
Need to know about milky mist!
I wish all skincare have no parfum
This is one of the best videos on skin care I have ever seen! I bought the Pixi tonic water as I don’t know anything about skin care. I just use a face wash and a sunscreen!
Brilliant!
Anyone want PIXI products I sell them cheap message me
I'm kinda shocked tho, there are reason why sodium hydroxide listed high up in the ingredient list, because 'probably' all other ingredients mixed is too acidic, so a lot of sodium hydroxide is needed to reduce its acidity, near skin pH level. More accurate way to test it is using pH strip. This is why we can't really analyze product just from ingredient list. But I agree on the fragrance, but not everyone can have bad reaction to it, but for some people that okay with certain fragrance can still develop sensitivity to it in the future. In the end, your skin knows better, and skincare is trial and error. I hope anyone struggling with their skin issues can get better in very near future
I was hoping you reviewed the glow peel pads. I have them sitting here unopened for about 2 weeks scared to try them lol. Thanks for the video.
I loveeeeee pixi products, my whole routine is pixi now and Iv tried every brand under the sun and this is by far the best
I think the fragrance in glo tonic is a positive because it smells like a beautiful suntan lotion at the beach which makes me want to use it
Please do Bliss or Glossier next 🥺🥺
thank you for always letting us know the potential impacts of these ingredients. it’s so helpful to have someone list out the pros and cons of these formulas, because the lay person would have to do so much research to get this info. some people’s skin may tolerate the more aggressive ingredients, but my acne prone, oily skin LIVES for your eye/mind for good ingredients ! my skin did a 180 after 2 weeks of using your skin recommendations
When I tried the glow tonic for the first time, it made my face sting. Especially around my nose area. It stung and I didn’t like the smell. All I smelled was alcohol? And it gave me a sticky feeling afterward. I didn’t get the hype from it. The only product I did enjoy was the vitamin c serum.
You're awesome.
I came here to watch this video before buying it ….
Love your candid reviews, I suffer from rosacea and extremely dry skin and I’m trying to learn about ingredients and their effects on the skin to make better choices ♥️
Guys you don’t have to take his word for everything , pixi’s tonics are the only thing that worked for me and I’ve been struggling to look for a product that doesn’t irritates my pimples
I just found this channel today and I have already changed my entire skincare routine. I feel dragged but…in a good and comforting way 😅
Hyram would HATE the Clinique toner.
The pixi glow tonic made me break out instantly so bad with cystic 😩 it was Heartbreaking because I had worked so hard to make my skin good.
What about their overnight retinol oil? That should be okay right
Jesus loves y'all. Please turn to him.
Love you vibe bro 😎
It gives me breakout lol
The clarity line is ok, but there's a lot of better things for the price.
I feel like the glow tonic and the glow tonic gel thing irritated my dry skin so much and it made my cheeks very dry and wet. I don't use it everyday, but after using it my skin is very, very rough and dry.
How about pixi rose tonic?
Agh what should i buy then?
What bothers me about your video is that you didn't go to the company to understand how they formulate their products. Petra, the founder has decades of experience as makeup artist and product development. Her sister is an esthetician (you admit yourself are not a dermatologist or a licensed esthetician). The formulas are cruelty-free and vegetarian. I also disagree that herb infusions are bad for the skin. Herbs have high medicinal properties. It seems you're focusing on 1 or 2 ingredients you don't like but taking them out of the holistic context in which they are formulated. You CAN sample Pixie products at Ulta which has 1,250 stores across the United States. I was not familiar with the Pixie brand and stumble onto some products. I tried them and saw instant results in the best of ways. I was sold because they work and trust their products.
Watching this while having the eye patches on 🌚🌚🌚
I appreciate your thoughts on this retinol Jasmine tonic and I also am learning a ton from you so just sub’d and catching the rest on your channel! I have blindly used products for far too long. Guilty of choosing based off the products marketing and what the front of the bottle claims to offer. I have sensitive skin I thought but after just this one video, I believe im just using “natural ingredients” because they say all natural but had no idea the majority of what I have is most likely causing more irritation than good. Smh.. this is so important! TY
I used to love the glow tonic until my mid to late twenties I became sensitive to fragrance so had to discontinue use. The retinol tonic was surprisingly effective. I did actually get some peeling as I do with other stronger retinols. The glow mist is a good makeup setting spray to give a dewy finish but I wouldn’t use it on bare skin. And I’ve never tried the others. Tbh I wouldn’t use pixi again because of all the fragrance but the glow mist really is great for making matte and powdery makeup look more skin like
I am finding the Pixi Glow Peel Pads, Advanced Exfoliating Treatment works really well for me. 20% glycolic acid. I have sensitive skin and no irritation for me. it has made a big difference in the smoothness of my skin and I'd buy it again.
My dearest Hyram your rant is so entitled, just so you know personally, I have never used Pixi products, nor shall I ever. As I mentioned in another comment if you do not recommend a product then I shall never ever use the product. Now, there are other products I've used before as Neutrogena, of course, fragrance-free, Curology, Kiehl's, Meaningful Beauty, just to name a few. Have a great day I am so glad you came to educate those of us who are naive.
In india its been marketed as a luxe product and for 100 ml of glycolic flavoured water they charge a premium of 1400 rs or 18.20$
Hyran, Your chemistry is off on your comment regarding sodium hydroxide, pixie glow tonic is acidic, so your comments on NaOH being stripping don’t hold up as it will not be existing as hydroxide at the product’s pH
Literally just used this and it burned so I looked it up and now I regret doing so🤣🤣
Every brand should offer samples. I've wasted so much money on products that I had to buy before trying. It's also a waste of the product.
You know what my local 'drug store' has just started selling.. The Ordinary! :') I know it's not the best but it is a step forward for the shops here in the UK, everything is shit lmao
Stupidly I got the Vitamin C Pixi toner today, IT JUST SMELLS LIKE LEMONS……. ._.
i have extremely sensitive and acne prone skin. i have been trying out different products since i was 10. im now 20. i still have yet to control my acne, but pixi glow is the only product ive used that doesnt break me out. ive tried cerave as ive heard so many good things and it killed my skin. ive tried the ordinary glycolic acid and my skin broke out. yet whenever i go back to this pixi glow my skin looks and feels great. weird
I’m ngl I have dry sensitive skin and I like this brand a lot
cannot bear his voice.
oh…i like pixi
I came across a young profoundly educated online dermatologist providing scientific sources in his videos for each and every issue he addresses. As for the reliability of the ingredient lists also scientifically backed up how unreliable the lists we see/are on the product are unreliable, some of which completely the same as the ingredient list for some food products. The lists compared and presented + explained with scientific papers link delving into the issue. Love him! P. S. Hope smb sees this and pays attention to that amazing dermatologists he genuinely deserves.
What about the eye patches
I found out this video too late
2017, I’ve been US for few years. (I’m a Korean)
I tried to buy some skincare products in drug stores and I used them, they always get me pimples and they made my skin getting worse even I bought them over $30 at drug stores for making it better. (Ex. Clinique)
After all I found that there’re a lot of ingredients in drug store products really bad for my skin and sometimes it make it worse.
So I started to figure out what ingredients are bad for our skin, and most of skinscare products in drug stores are not that helpful for skin.
Also I thought it related with FDA’s weak regulations.
(Ex, Cosmetic brands in Korea never add denatured alcohol in women skincare.)
Anyway, after I founded it out, I only bought Korean skincare products again(sometimes Japan’s) with shipping or Sephora.
Thank you for this video.
I really wanted to show American friends many products in drug stores not good for them.
The plants on the shelf behind you are starting to grow roots.😊
I think too instead of Pixi Glycolic acid toner i go for the ordinary Glycolic acid toner.
Exactly this! Hate overhyped products that promise the world and never deliver!
