I'm immediately picking up some Fanola Free Paint! ♡
I buy a lot of face products in pots and then put them in a container with a pump. Might help with your Glow Key!
I put water in and i'm long since passed college lol
Anyone try the Fanola Free paints on grey hair? I stopped coloring mine but am getting so bored with my natural color. Was thinking of just doing semi permanent color/tint just to change things up. Want something that will rinse out gradually where i dont have to start over with grey roots??
oooo – don't add water to your shampoo and then keep it around!! The water that goes into the shampoo has been purified so it won't make the shampoo go moldy but your tap water hasn't. it only takes 24 hours for bacteria to start growing. 😬 you can put less in your hand and water it down in your hand and use it right away or add water to a bottle that's almost empty and use that right away.
Even the blue green one transfers on top of my lids but I do have oily lids
Enjoyed this video Linda
A lot of Reddit panning users and whatnot of the like do “hate panning,” and I get not wasting, but why use something you literally hate? Life is too short to waste ages of literally hating something you put on your face, move on, be free, and be hopefully more happy!
Omgoodness Girl! I think we are product twins. I used to do the exact same thing and force myself to use up things I didn’t really like and saving the good things for “ special”. WTF ! Why? Every day I should feel special. Now if I get something I don’t like I either return it or give it to someone who will use it. Hard habit to break but I think of it as making me happy and helping someone else out. Heck at 52 I deserve to use what I like and what works for me. I agreed with almost every single one of your likes and dislikes. Btw – new subscriber here and I love your style and attitude.
Your shampoo and conditioner are half off at ulta today
My favourite lash princess one is the volume and curl formula.
Your review of the Naturelab Tokyo shampoo & conditioner came just in time for me to grab some to try for 50% off at Ulta today!
Linda, I'll take "I am not a dermatologist, but I played on on tv for $500, please.
What is: "The skin’s immune system contains many other weapons, each responding to a specific situation in an attempt to keep us safe. Our dermis is full of spherical, spotted cells called mast cells. They are the land mines of our skin, packed to the brim with powerful molecules, most notably histamine, which cause the symptoms of inflammation and allergy. If you want to experiment, scratch the skin along the back of your hand with a fingernail or a pointed object such as a pencil. Three things will always happen. Firstly, within a few seconds a red line appears. This is caused by mast cells emptying out their potent contents at the site, with histamine dilating the small blood vessels of the dermis to increase blood flow to the area. Secondly, after a minute or so, the redness appears to spread outside of the margins of the line. This is called the axon reflex, in which the histamine activates nerve endings, which send an impulse to the spine and back to the skin, which in turn dilates more dermal blood vessels immediately around the scratch site. Finally, a weal appears along the point of the original red line. This is because the dilation of all of these blood vessels increases their permeability, releasing blood plasma (the fluid that holds blood cells in suspension) from the vessels into the surrounding tissues. This causes the swelling that almost always accompanies inflammation. This inflammatory response is critical in our fight against injury and infection; by making all the roads to the affected area permeable, our skin enables the immune system to quickly address whatever has caused the damage. During particularly dull lectures at medical school, one of my friends would invite me to take part in an unusual party trick. Using just a tiny amount of pressure with the end of a pencil, we would draw on his skin, which usually descended into playing noughts and crosses on his forearm. The swollen weals caused by our writing would take more than an hour to fade because he had a condition called dermographism (‘skin writing’) caused by excess histamine release from his mast cells. This excessive reaction is found in around 5 per cent of the global population, but the reason behind it is currently unclear."

p.s. thanks for the nudge ~~ the AM & PM moisturizers that I am plodding through are gonna get moved to the hand lotion bin! I others I want to crack open sooner rather than later. Like Linda says, "Use the good stuff!" Indeed.
The Nyx liquid liner did that to me too, but closer to the beginning—I think I’d only used it a few times 😩.
Linda just made me feel better about putting water in products to stretch out the supplies I do the same thing.
That happens to me w the NYX brow pen!
I love this! I too don’t have time to waste on products I don’t like. Haha I’m also hooked on the Bum Bum cream! And the spray is the only scent I have that I can wear consistently without worrying about getting a headache. Congratulations to your friend on her engagement! 🎉 Also – you look Gorgeous as always!
I had the same experience with the Kosas concealer! I loved it but it expired quickly because it’s “clean beauty”
I finally let a leave in conditioner go with a little left. I am one that has to use every drop up no matter what 😂. Yes, I'm the one who cuts up tubes and scrapes out every drop and adds a little water to use up every drop of a soap or shampoo. I spent too much time with survivors of the Great Depression and that mindset was engrained in me. 😂
I’m totally like you and don’t want to waste product so I’ll force myself to use it up! But now if I don’t love something on my face I’ll use it on my body or even my feet! It’s a little weird at first but I can go through the product faster and not waste my money!
Thank you
I’m so bad at continuing to use skincare even though I don’t love it. I started two baskets one for empties and one for declutters to help. Also fully repping the brand wearing my glitter fallout tshirt while watching 😘
Kosas is one of those "clean" brands, so they probably don't use preservatives, I'm guessing. That's one of the problems with those brands is that their products go off quicker bc of that. I'd much rather have preservatives than bacteria honestly lol. If I don't love a product for my face, I try to re-purpose it for my body so it doesn't go to waste, like you did with that Ordinary lotiion. Thanks Linda, I love empties vidoes.
So happy you have decided to do away with stuff that doesn't make you happy… it also shows us what not to purchase… this eye look is so awesome on you!… I was like what happened for a second and then we were back to it 🤣
Hey Linda! Love this video & your insights into each item. Thanks for making it! I have KP on my arms as well as the same redness you demonstrated to us….my dermatologist recommended an Amlactin lotion DIFFERENT than the one you tried and it has helped me a lot. It’s called Amlactin Daily (green bottle). It moisturizes as well as exfoliates with alpha-hydroxy acids! I also recommend using the First Aid Beauty products that are for KP, such as their body wash for bumpy skin and especially their smoothing body lotion…the lotion also has 10% AHA, colloidal oatmeal & ceramides. 👍👍♥️♥️
hiya the same thing happened with Kosas concealer ,smelled bad after 4 months
I totally agree with life being to short for crappy products
