Check Out Dr Bronner’s Castile Soap HERE: https://amzn.to/2QOL889

Hey guys! So last week I used Dr Bronner’s Milk Unscented Castile Soap on my face for my morning and night time skincare routine. You’ll see why in this video, but I ended up only using the castile soap for one day. According to the Dr Bronner’s website, castile soap often works really well as a face wash. They claim that castile soap removes excess sebum, keratin, and makeup from the skin to help prevent acne-causing clogged pores. They also address a few misconceptions about castile soap as face wash (the fact that there’s coconut oil in the soap and the fact that the soap has a high pH level). I’ll link the page below so you guys can check it out. Make sure to watch until the end to see my final thoughts on Dr Bronner’s castile soap as face wash. If you guys have used this as a face wash, let me know your thoughts in the comments. Do you love it? Hate it? Thank you guys for watching and I hope you enjoyed ! 💜 😊

  1. I have been using Dr. Bronner's peppermint liquid soap for nearly 55 years. Great stuff.

  2. I made it 1 min listening to what sounded like a whiny, narcissistic child’s voice. Do I win a prize?

  3. You don't like it cause you used it wrong dummy. Don't blame the soap. Reading is fundamental!

  4. The (Dr. Bronner’s Baby) BAR soap is better for the face than the liquid, but yeah, I think you used way too much. Even gentler, than the Dr. Bronner’s baby bar soap is Cal Ben Pure Soap.

  5. Oh wow , I just used Dr.Bronner for the first time the peppermint kind bar of soap 🧼 one and my armpits are burning right now.

  6. Too harsh on the face to rid of your pimples just use tooth paste on the pimple or pimples. Also vegetable oils clog pours and cause more pimples. I felt bad when you said I was using witch hazel that’s another strong agent and the 2 together can cause redness and very crack and dry skin.

  7. I'm not trying to bash you for trying it and not liking it, however next time do a little more research. If something is made up of oils and you put it on an already oily surface you get an excess of oils especially if you are locking it in with more oil based products (moisturizers). So maybe try it with witch hazel next time if you decide to ever try it again. I'm not saying there is a one size fit all in anything but sometimes natural things work for a more variety of people than most products out there.

  8. I noticed from researching online, most people are not diluting. Dr B has to be completely watered down. It will not seem like regular soap when you're preparing to use it.

Also, it does have other ingredients in it that you might have reacted to. You might want to look into some of those and make sure they don't occur in your other skincare products.

  9. Almost all soap is made of vegetable oils because they are the best

The only alternatives are are animal fats or petroleum oils these are cheap

    Petroleum oils are terrible

Castile soap is historically olive oil only. By definition that is what castile soap is made from.

This soap although mislabeled Is great soap.

All soap is made from some kind of oil with a caustic reaction.

Buy your soap and let it age.

The biggest problem with soap is unrected caustic agents. Time usually fixes soap. The older the soap the better.

Almost all soap will have a high ph.

The sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide used to convert the oils into soap is very high alkaline pH and over time will reduce the natural acid strains in the oils to separate them into Esther oils and glycerine and recombine them with water.

The maker of this video is clueless about soap and skincare. It's very sad.

Study your skin care products and stop spreading misinformation.

  10. I understand where you're coming from and why you wouldn't want to continue. I use Dr. Bronners soap and I also have combination skin. Try using a foam bottle, put fill it with water and 2 cap fills of dr bronners soap. I find that it being foam is less harsh for the skin. Hope that helps ☺️

  11. Tea tree oil on your face is not a good idea, especially the way you use it.

  12. I have highly hormonal acne prone skin that is super sensitive at that and Dr. Bronner’s tea tree soap is the only thing that I’ve found the works without also giving me a chemical burn.

If you ever try again I would suggest using the tea tree bar soup instead, a Sonic cleaning brush, make sure to rinse really really well as it gets deep into your pores and to wait a little while before adding any products to your face including moistures or toners. It’s also a shock to your system so your face may freak out for a day or two and over compensate on the oil before stabilizing.

  13. Thank you for this vedio. Not for me, I too just use unscented Dove soap for everything my face washing my body two different bar soaps one for my face one for my body and just keep it simple. I was about to buy this because all the minimalist on youtube swear by it, BUT with my sensitive skin, glad I came across this review🤗

  14. Does everyone use multiple products on their face, I'm a dude so I just like, idk. But now I wanna know. Why my shit all fucked up god. You wash your face and put more stuff on after ….? What the hell are skin types, how do you find out what type you are. Witch hazel…? No pimples, just uncomfortable

  15. Also why are all the reviews from Brothas and sisters. What if your like not naturally oily. Yo what kinda soap they use in prisons? That shit keeps me coming back haha

  16. I heard that you should use the baby fragrance free Version for skin and don't use tea tree oil ,try a little bit of shea butter or coconut oil .The increase in Acne is the soap bringing all of the im purities to the surface.
