We got to the root of how this yummy, self-preserving sudser is made when we met up with Kirsti and Arnel from our manufacturing team. Fresh carrots are steeped in water to pull out all that beneficial vitamin C, beta carotene and antioxidants that keep skin looking and feeling its best, while vegetable glycerin and organic sunflower oil are added to the mix to help lock in moisture. Arnel then finishes this one off with neroli oil, jasmine absolute and rose absolute to give Wash Behind Your Ears (and your skin) a fresh springtime scent that will last all day. I think it's amazing you use so many fresh ingredients that are chopped up and used right that second, but don't all the nutrients just denature once they are cooked and exposed to heat?? I thought that caused them to lose their benefits…
