・特に、水酸化ナトリウム原材料は強アルカリ性で皮膚にふれるとやけどを起こすことがあり、目に入ると失明の恐れもあります。また、口に入れないようにもしてください。手作り石鹸にも使われるほど希釈後は安全で知られる原材料ですが、もし水酸化ナトリウムの原材料が皮膚や目に接触した場合は、大量の流水で洗い流し医師の診察を受けてください。
