[パリ １８日 ロイター] – カナダとウクライナは１８日、パリで行われた会合で戦略的エネルギーパートナーシップに合意した。両国政府によると、カナダは産業界と協力して石油・ガス設備を有利な条件でウクライナに供給し、同国の再生可能エネルギーへの投資を促進することで支援を強化する。
２０２２年２月にウクライナに侵攻を開始したロシアは、発電所、送電線、ガス施設を攻撃している。
カナダは、ウクライナの再生可能エネルギープロジェクトや水力発電所再建への投資機会を国内の産業界に呼びかけるという。
カナダのホジソン・エネルギー相は「これは単なる再建ではない。圧力の下での近代化だ」と記者団に述べた。
