There is something you need to be aware of with peroxide when it contacts mold. The oxygenation reaction can cause mold spores to become airborne. Use a cleaner that is designed to destroy mold spores on contact.

It's not mold. It's a bacterium called Serratia marcescens. It feeds on soap scum, body oils, and the minerals found in hard water. It definitely isn't GOOD for you, and it's gross, but it's not the "beginnings" of mold. It's a separate gross bacteria that can't spontaneously change into another organism. Black mold is black mold. This pink gunk is a different organism entirely. Yes, it should be cleaned and removed, but it isn't nearly as toxic.
