  1. I always thought my hair was straight so after the shower I would brush it and it just kept getting frizzy when it was air drying so I just kept brushing it because I thought my hair was straight but after watching all these videos I realized my hair is wavy and now my hair doesn't get as frizzy anymore

  2. I have wavy hair and my wavy hair routine is like this first brush hair before getting in the shower
1 shampoo and scrunch while rinsein
2 conditioner and put up while shaving
3 take hair down and brush then rinse and scrunch
4 put hair up in a. Shower bonnet ( I call it that but it drys your hair while getting dressed )
5 scrunch with towel and air dry and done.
It has to be that why or my hair. Will be frizzy and look straight

  3. You are lucky you figured out how to work with your wavy hair while you are young. It took me 6 decades and YouTube videos to figure out i have naturally wavy hair and what to do with it. And I'm still in the learning phase.

  4. So after you plopped it did you take it out and difused it and then bonnet over night? Because otherwise how will it ever dry if itโ€™s in a T-shirt and then bonnet? Iโ€™m new to discovering my curly hair and so confused

  5. I do this everyday permanently. I have very curly hair and it doesnโ€™t do that frizzy lifeless curly thing anymore because of this in part. The curls are super bouncy and big and have a ton of volume. I ONLY brush my hair in the shower when Iโ€™m rinsing out the conditioner with a wide tooth comb and I couldnโ€™t recommend this enough. If you do nothing else and you have curly hair..only brush your hair with a wide tooth comb in the shower while rinsing out conditioner. Game changer! Also donโ€™t use regular towels on your hair to dry it. This one is annoying to keep up with though. Especially if you have young kids. ๐Ÿ˜… and rarely get any time to yourself as is and showers are always rushed and convenience is prioritized over most things. But using an old tshirt or microfiber towel is a huge help with taming frizz. *tshirts works best in my opinion. The towels take too much moisture out of your super quickly that causes excess frizz. Then, if you go and straighten your hair or do something where you have to brush it when itโ€™s dry, itโ€™ll take a couple days or so for your hair to actually get back to that normal super curly definition again but you wonโ€™t have train it all over again. Mine gets back after 2 washes. And itโ€™s only slightly less curly in the meantime after using heat on my hair or brushing while itโ€™s dry. Itโ€™s rare but sometimes itโ€™s necessary. But youโ€™ll notice a massive difference in your day to day regardless. Even right after you wash your hair, after having straightened it or blow dried it straight or whatever else that required brushing and a lot of styling. Doing these things changed my attitude from constantly wanting to straighten my hair and being kind of self conscious about it, to loving my curly hair and realizing how fortunate I am to have curly hair because I have have any style I want whereas women with straight hair canโ€™t have curly hair without heat and treatment and a ton of product and even then it doesnโ€™t always work or look good.

  6. I am 57 and this year realised that my non straight hair is actually curly!!!! I have ringlets and everything-how did I miss it??!! My tools of choice are microfibre gloves-really good quality ones which take practically all the water out of my hair and leave me with GORGEOUS curlsafter minimal scrunching!!!

  7. Itโ€™s so crazy how some of us can go through decades and not know we have curly or wavy hair. I discovered it at age 32 ๐Ÿ˜… and because it had been treated as straight hair it was always stretched so I had no idea it wasnโ€™t just super damaged straight hair. Itโ€™s always fun to see a video of someone discovering their hair texture ๐Ÿ˜Š

  8. My hair is in between wavy/curly when it is wet. When I brush it, it looks like a total frizzy mess. So I always keep it in a ponytail or braided. This has been all my life. I am going to be 50 in 2 months,
I have ZERO clue how to care for curly hair. ๐Ÿคญ

  9. Yeah, love ur curls is not for my hair, I have it but when I tried it on my hair and when I scrunched with curl cream and the gel i think, my waves wouldn't form๐Ÿ˜•, so I bought a curl talk curl cream, then gel, and then shampoo and conditioner, and now my hair actually forms๐Ÿ˜Š

  10. I was today years old when I realized my hair is wavy/curly, my hair on the sides when I donโ€™t brush it while wet curl upโ€ฆ Iโ€™m gonna start doing a routine to see how defined my curls really are ๐Ÿ˜ญ wish me luck, this video gave me the motivation

  11. Trying this right now! Just scrunched some curl gel and mousse into my hair and now I'm letting it airdry. I've always had semi straight, frizzy hair.
