Very well explained, I am completely addicted to your way of explaining things, you are the best teacher 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💥
And you make great points I am impressed THANK YOU🌺🌺🌺🥰💥
I’d love if you made a video on the most popular Carrier Oils, comedonogic level….please .
Thank you so much for pointing what could happen if you heat up things in the microwave🤗💥
Omg your scale story shutting off that was me a few months ago! I would add getting a set of calibration tools just to make sure your scale is still accurate.
"Americans like microwaves". LOL, more profound truths have rarely been spoken… My brothers debate regularly whether or not water boiled in the microwave is REALLY boiled water. I'm firmly on the stove-boiled side of this fence.
But on a formulation note- 100% go with the water bath on the stove. The waterbath-in-microwave might be ok for 200 gram batches of lip balm that need a few extra seconds so you can get it into tubes, but the first time you burn your cetyl, stearic, btms, etc by overnuking by just a few seconds you'll head for the stovetop! 🤣
You look amazing, Marie 🧡🦹♀️⚘🇺🇸
Thank You for vídeo and important information Very good… congratulations.
My God bless you life Marie 😘🙏
Thanks for the scales info it’s right on time. Also I’m American and I’ve never heard of microwaved water in my 50yrs of living this is too much. 🤦🏾♀️
As your fellow Canadian, I stand with you in our rather irrational recoiling at the thought of consuming microwave boiled water. 😂 🇨🇦 ☕️
Thanks so much Marie! I love the whole microwave stovetop thing! 😂 I totally get that though. Too funny! I must say it’s easier, in my opinion, to use a microwave for melting solid oils when I make soap. However; I like the water bath method for everything else. I found the cutest silicone spoons on amazon with a mini scraper on one end and the spoon on the other with a long thin handle, similar to your steel mini spoons. I definitely want to get a couple of those! My Dad was a chemist and I’ve always loved chemistry style beakers and such. I’m excited to get some beakers and glass stirrers too!! Anyway, thanks again for all you do I really appreciate it! ☮️💟
USA here and I don't even own a microwave nor do I ever want to own one.
I cannot figure out how to create an account on your website so that I can post to the forum. Can anyone help me???
What? No links to these items? 🥰
Lovely video!!! Short, precise and to the point. I myself never use the microwave; I always boil on the stove stop like yourself. Great advice about the notebook; I write on pieces of paper and can never find them when I need them. Keep up the good work coming from a Toronto.
This video was great!..I loved how you described how "deeply unsettled " you are about boiling water in the microwave!😂 Thanks again for the video very helpful!🥰
Haha I'm American and use the microwave to melt my waxes and combine oils 🙂
I'm American but I don't use a microwave except to maybe reheat something but rarely even then do I like to use an electric kettle which gets my water boiling faster for my tea.
Thanks for mentioning the microwave method. I found it very useful and economical because you use less energy and save time. I can get my water phase and oil phase to 70 degrees Celsius in around 1-2 mins using 30 min blasts and I can get to emulsifying a minute or two later. It all happens very fast and exciting vs. a water bath that uses so much energy and takes around 10 mins for water to heat and another 5 or 10 to get it to your ideal temp. Water bath still is useful though when your oil phase is composed of hard waxes like beeswax with very little liquid oil which will be difficult to melt in a microwave. I hope you give it a try someday.
Thank you 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I found a precision scale (to 0.01 grams) at KOHL’S of all places, branded by Food Network and sold for measuring out expensive spices! I never expected to just be able to walk into a store and buy one, but it works just fine! $25 😂
I haven't owned a microwave in over 20 years!!! I would rather do stovetop for my formulations. Not all Americans like microwaves. LOL!
I must have missed it, but what was the name and cost of the other small scale next to the smallest (smart weigh) one?
i have been going through your videos for my diy's but i am slowly falling for you 😂, I'll have a hard time Focusing on your videos from now on 🤣
And for your info i have never had a crush in like 12 years since elementary ❤️.
Why the heck is this happening so suddenly, i didn't even have intentions of sort 😂
Great video ! I love your presence. You're very relatable 😁
As an Australian I say boiling water in the microwave is wierd… I use an electric jug/kettle
