I love @cosme, when I lived in Japan and now whenever i visit I always go there, it is my go to site for checking reviews. I love the brand Orbis, I used a few of their products like the sunscreen and face powder. Cosme Decorte is so popular in Japan, so many of my Japanese friends use that powder and also their serum, which I see on most Japanese beauty youtubers recs. I quite like both Curel and iHada products as they are good for dry sensitive skin, I mostly use their face creams though. I remember the Shu Uemura cleansing oils being a big hit like 15 years ago or something when I was a kid anyway even in the West, I didn't think they were still a thing. Jill Stuart do really cute packaging, as does another brand called Anna Sui that is very popular in Japan for makeup.
I am crazy in love with everything Korean because of you but I’m close to diving into Japan now as well 😂 I will declare bankruptcy soon 🤣🤣🤣
love that you guys are doing more japanese products now. the cosme ranking is great, but it doesn't include other great japanese products that aren't sold at their stores. brands like ipsa, pola, shiro, etc, would love to hear your thoughts on their top products too! thanks for including japansse products ❤❤

I'm a japanese living in Germany and I'm a J/Euro beauty. Haven't tried K-beauty yet but everything I use has been working for me. For hair, Japanese stuff works so much better than the European products for me so I tend to bulk buy when I go home.
I hate brow trends…😂 Can’t we just have normal brows?! They frame your face so when you make them lighter, blocky, or just funky, it is distracting, not enhancing.

Do you feel that the Orbis Hair Milk only works if you blow dry your hair? The directions say that it works by using the heat from the hair dryer, and I rarely use a hair dryer on my hair. I was wanting it to just be a normal leave in conditioner.

I enjoyed some but 1 have not use yet. Is the kaminomoto hair acceleratet. Could you make a short video on it? How to use it, and the frequency? As was bought on a asian site it came just with japonise language and I gave up try to translated it.

I've been using the d program face wash for years!! It helped me a lot with my acne, but now it got better I still like using it hahaha

Despite my hair being virgin and I rarely blow dry it, it is SO dry and haven't found anything that works 😢 The products I have tried so far make it FEEL soft but somehow it still LOOKS dull and dry especially on the ends 🤷♀️

For removing Waterproof Mascara, my go to cleanser is Purity Made Simple Cleanser by Philosophy. No, it’s not Asian, it’s American but it’s the BEST cleanser. It’s gentle and doesn’t sting the eyes. Ulta & Sephora both sell it. They even have the smaller bottles up front, so people can try it. You need very little of it, but it works. I’m 61 & have been using this cleanser since it came out about 30 years ago or longer. 😉
I use elixir as a sunscreen

for your hair, put olive oil.., yes.., from the kitchen – on clean and dry hair , massage it first in your scalp and then the rest of your hair. Leave it as much time as poss. You will notice that it will sink in because your hair is very dry…..then wash it as usual… it will become shiny and soft…. I do it on a weekly basis.no need to spend on those fancy parfumed masks – because they are packed with ethanol – and limonene.., and you will save lots of cash for an exra moisturiser , sunblock or whatever you need for example😊

Sabon means soap in Hebrew. It’s an Israeli brand. Can’t believe it’s ranked so high! Never tried it.

I prefer to stick with kbeauty because it's easily accessible and, at the very least, the label is in English. Jbeauty usually isn't on Amazon, so I have to use sites I'm not as familiar with, and the shipping prices usually stops me from completing the order. If I do, then I have to memorize what I bought and what it does because 99% of the packaging is in Japanese. It feels like it's not for me, like it's just for Japan.

12:04 I'm going through the same thing! Crazy how skin needs change with age. Despite hearing about it all the time, when it actually happened, I was still blindsided by it lol I wake up in the morning with really dry skin 🏜 It was never an issue before, but all of a sudden it is… and now I'm looking for sleeping masks 🔍
