This Disney World Travel Day Vlog (from the UK) starts out at Heathrow Terminal 3 outside Virgin Atlantic check-in. Here I re-introduce you to my friend Sam and I surprise him with an upgrade from Premium Economy to Virgin Atlantic Upper Class with the use of a rewards voucher. We check-in and proceed through the Upper Class wing private security to the Virgin Clubhouse which is undergoing a new refurbishment. We have a sneak peek at what it’s going to look like.
Once onboard our A350 to Orlando International Airport (MCO), we settle in and give you a seat tour of the Upper Class configuration. During the flight we share a look at the menu and give our honest reviews. Upon landing in Orlando, we just the CBP MPC app to fast-track through customs and border control in just 15 minutes. We then hop in our private transfer with Jim and make our way over to All Star Music via a stop at Publix to pick-up some water and snacks.
Arriving at Disney’s All Star Music we check-in and head over to our two standard rooms. We each give you a room tour of our own style, and show you an overview of the resort with a look at the lobby, merchandise store, and quick service restaurant.

I pop over to Disney Springs in the morning to pick up some Christmas presents via Uber and Lyft ride share. I recommend downloading both before a trip to Orlando so you can compare prices between surges.
Our festive day starts out at Animal Kingdom where we ride Dinosaur (maybe for the last time), Expedition Everest, Kilimanjaro Safaris and the new Better Zoogether Zootopia (Zootropolis) 3D show under the Tree of Life.
In the evening we attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and head over via Minnie Van as a little treat. We enjoy the cookies, hot chocolate, apple cider, Frozen castle lightning ceremony, Christmas stage show, Once Upon a Christmas Time Parade, fireworks and the festive fun around the park. Was it was worth the $210 price tag and how busy it was compared to previous years?
