I live in Tokyo but I feel freer in China because energy is sufficient so everything is affordable, from eating out, transportation, food and veges to delivery. Things in Japan are quiet expansive (except the stuff made in China)

London does have its problems, but I live, and work in London, and I don’t think it is as bad as you are trying to represent.
As a world traveler and a New Yorker living in London I'd say London is one the best cities in the world. No city is perfect. The fearmonger content is unnecessary and a turn off. But of course, you need the views and likes.
