I have never flown business class, but it always cracks me up, after spending thousands on a seat they still want to charge you $40 for WiFi.
I recommend trying the gin in the delft houses, it’s really good. I think they serve it in the long bar upstairs in the crown 52 lounge in AMS….when you’re next there!
We threw all our Delft Blue houses away years ago when we moved to a new place. Just don't see the point of collecting mass-produced low-quality ceramic pieces. We did finish the gin inside though. The Bols Genever gin is not like the traditional gin, but we used it in cocktails which turned out to be pretty good if you have a sweet tooth.
air France is better. and recently i think Lufthansa improved , my last two business flights with them were surprisingly good
I’ve not flown Business Class on KLM but I have flown Business Class on Air France many times, judging by this report I think Air France are better, I’ve visited many Air France lounges on two continents and they seem better too.
I really appreciate that KLM still offer complementary food and drink in European Economy Class, the cheese sandwich is always very welcome.

Hi, in general I have the same experience as you when it comes to KLM long-haul business class. Solid new hard product, but the food and service are not the best, but not bad either. In short your review reflects my own sentiments about KLM.

Im very well traveled! I know i guy who knows a guy who's mother sister is married to a guy who once knew a neighbor who passed a guy on a street who's been on business class.
I have flown long-haul business class with them several. They are average or nothing special – a grade C. I also don't think they aim to be in that B or A category, neither with the hard product nor the soft. Imo, they are clearly behind AirFrance, and AirFrance is clearly behind Delta for transcontinental (US… EU) flights. Although for the routes and places I travel, Qatar is king – great review👍🏾
KLM’s new enclosed suites finally give the 777-200ER the premium experience it always needed. Such a huge improvement in privacy and comfort
I don’t mind to have a delft blue house as a souvenir! Would be nice to collect them!
