Trying out the Latest soap from Elysian Soaps, “Styx” in todays shave. I’ll also be trying the red Edwin Jagger DE81 Razor. It comes with a Feather Blade, so I will be using that blade in todays shave. Also using the EJ Best Badger Brush, with faux horn handle.

Christmas in October! Nice review and shave. One trick I use to eliminate the odor of my badger brush is to soak it overnight in a mixture of water and a favorite aftershave splash. The smell is gone before my first shave.

When I read the Styx Label I was hoping you would talk about the Band and talk about what you remember about them. Growing my dad had a Ford Ranger that had a CD player in it and he had some burned CDs that was givin to him and one of the songs on it was Mr Roboto by Styx on it Good Song.

I never shave my face cuse am 35 and when I do I look like a kid but I do shave my neck witch grows more then my face! some ppl don't look good without Facial hair! and am sure when u came to the us u had to get use to driving on left side cuse in ur County they drive on the right side

Hi Ken, greetings from Texas! Relative to Feather blades pkg color and counts, I have yellow and black which are both 5 count! Further confusion.

Glad you didn't slice yourself up with the Feather blade. I have a small reserve of Feather blades that will only be used for days when I have at least 4 days of growth. It's always great to see your smiley face doing another shave video. If someone said I would become addicted to shaving videos, I would have said you are nuts. I guess it's better than being a gambling addict; now that can cost you dearly. I try to learn something from every video I watch.

Great shave. I’m proud that my city of Chicago is where Styx came from. I have the yellow package Feather blades in a 10 pack. I haven’t used them since I spent the entire August using them, but they always give me great shaves every time. Have a good one!
Great shave Ken and I was impressed with your pronunciation of Newcastle. Even most English people South of Newcastle don’t do as well. I kept getting ear infections needing treatment until on a hunch I put cotton wool in my ears whilst wet shaving and no more ear infections. You never know might be a tip for someone else!
