In this week’s video, I have some beauty DIYs. I am sharing how to make your very own sleep spray. How to make soap by using a melt and pour base. If you have run out of hand sanitiser, don’t worry! I am sharing how to make your own alcohol hand sanitiser. Have your hands become dry from all of the handwashing? I am sharing how to make your own hand balm from beeswax, shea butter and coconut butter.
I was able to purchase all of these from my local health food store. The only item I had to buy online was the melt and pour soap base and I will leave a link to it below.

I am hooked on Witchhazel. When everyone ran out to get Sanitizer, I made sure to get my witchhazel and tea tree oil. They are perfect for sprays and when u wash ur hands alot the witch hazel doesn't burn and helps to heal the little cuts. Thank you for more ideas on using them.
Great video Catherine. Also if you have really dry hands and heels, rub some of your hand balm in and then put on cotton socks and gloves. Sleep with them on over night and your skin will be so soft! Of course I never make it all night…gets too hot!!
I think the neutral color of the soaps look very nice, they look luxurious (expensive)👑💍🥂

Omg you're like me. I hate that Noro virus sickness bug! I've had it twice now and it knocked me off my feet for a week each time. I'm petrified of it. I've never been so ill. Another reason for moving to the sun for me. It baffles me where it's come from too as I've spent all my life without hearing of it, other than the odd breakout in hospitals, and now it's a common winter bug like it's always been there. I'm a bit of a conspiracy theorist, at the best of times, and these weird and deadly bugs are coming from somewhere not from nature me thinks. I just don't really trust the powers that be.

I absolutely love this! I’ve been making a lot of my own products over the years, especially cleanser which I use all the time. The soaps were gorgeous, I’m definitely giving those a try! Thank you 😊x
There are quite a few beauty things that I regularly make because I have sensitivities to some ingredients that are used in a lot of beauty products- I really don't need to break into hives due to Aloe Vera ever again in my life. I've made loads of face masks, hair cleansers, hair conditioners, hair styling creams and even hair gel from combining essential oils and what would normally be considered solely food items.

I love the decorative soaps. When I was a kid I loved decorative soaps, but they were too precious to use. If you can make your own they aren’t too precious to use.
Thank you Catherine I'll have to try the hand cream after using so much hand sanitisers at work and coming into winter here in Australia. The only thing I made yesterday was Elderberry Tincture to help keep colds at bay.

I did make the hand sanitizer just as you did and I loved it but I noticed yesterday that it had something floating in it . Must have been mold (a cloudy substance). How would that grow in alcohol? Glad to know I did it right lol: )

Witch hazel is such an underrated item, so glad to see it in use! When making sanitizer, the total %of the alcohol must be over 60% – you used a 99% to start, well done!
