  1. In my country's biggest cosmetic retailer we do have Dior "Poison" versions in 'apple' bottle (EDT & EDP). I just checked! In case you are interested I can send a link, I am sure they can ship worldwide. They do have "Hypnotic Poison EDP", "Pure Poison EDP", "Poison Girl EDP" and the rest is EDT.

  2. Love the 80',the best decade ever…. recently I discovered a Coco on a one very stylish lady, and I was amazed how suited her,and I immediately wanted to try it on myself,no matter it was targeted to women,I think I could pull this perfume off.

  3. Eternity always smelled like wet car keys to me…I never got anything floral out of it.i never got anything at all out of it. I'm glad someone can explain it to me the way you do!

  4. That’s why I love living in Germany, Dacob. I ask a person about how he is doing today, he will unpack all of his medical records in front of me. Thanks for being honest and critical when reviewing these fragrances.

  5. Love the 80’s. Colors de Benetton (the original clear bottle) was my ultimate perfume then. Still trying to find a dupe for that one.

  6. I was born in July of 88 and I must say the way that you went through the perfume of the 80s you made me feel like I had been born all along this was beautiful and nostalgic for a time that was better than now 2023 I’m currently watching this. I loved this from beginning to the end.
Thanks for the beautiful ode to the 80s! 👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

  7. WoW you are so passionate and knowledgeable about these perfumes considering how young you are. I am very impressed.😀

  8. Giorgio of Beverly Hills reached such high popularity also by innovating (or at least really pushing) the scent strip sample in magazines. Every magazine smelled like Giorgio! Many other fragrance followed this method, and the 1980s fragrance renaissance was what we got…

  9. I wore Ombré Rose by Jean Charles Brosseau through most of the 80’s. I still have a bottle on hand. Never without it!

  10. I will have to try Liz Claiborne. Your description makes me think it may be up my alley. I am so old I remember the 80s well. Opium and Chanel No.5 were always on hand. I also was a gender bender in the days when people considered perfumes as gender specific and wore Halston Z-14. I remember these smells like it was yesterday dancing in gay bars. As a heterosexual woman it was so freeing to be able to dance all night with girlfriends and male friends without getting hit on! The ‘80s had a lot of problems and still is not my favorite decade, but yes to the perfumes and the dance music. Only the Chanel No. 5 remains with me, but the other old loves stay where they belong for me and my personality, in the past! Still beautiful, but definitely not for the person I am. These smell out of tune for my appearance and demeanor and for m essence. Chanel No. 5 was my first perfume love and remains so! Thanks for letting me go down memory lane and thanks for making me curious about a perfume I missed. I will look for Liz Claiborne.

  11. I wore the OG Gianni Versace for Women since it was released in 1981. It was my signature scent for decades and I still maintain a small stash…but began exploring other fragrances in November 2023.

While I have built a respectable current fragrance collection, I'm also building a vintage fragrance collection, along with miniatures.

  12. Who are you to claim Jesus was black??? Just because he wasn't "white" doesn't automatically mean he was black! He was MIDDLE EASTERN. Stop getting SO caught up in skin color for god sake. Unsubscribed.

  13. I used to date girls in late 80s and ONE SMELL was soooo CRAZY(!) it’s smells like AESOP marraccesh night( rose and spices) can you tell me WHICH ONE OF THEM? I saw advertisement in 1988 spring issue of fashion magazine ELLE

  14. Great list, I definitely agree. Couple I haven’t experienced but I own most of these. The Moschino one is reminiscent of Obsession but reminds me of Dana Tabu a bit too

  15. The Lou Lou description was the most accurate description I have ever heard. I went out and bought both the original vintage formulation AND the current reformulated version. They are BOTH EXACTLY how he described, and the reformulated version IS better IMO, for the exact SAME reasons why Dacob said. They are BOTH excellent, but the modern version is the best. So I only wear the vintage version as a base at night, and carry the modern version for touch ups. One of the best fragrances ever made, IMO.

  16. Nice trip down memory lane, Dacob! But no Ysatis?! There's your 1984 entry. I'm still addicted to it😊

  17. I am with you on the fragrance not knowing gender. I prefer the "men's" Obsession to the women's version and my favorite scent is a Nautica scent.

  18. Prêt-à-Porter shows by Claude Montana in the 80s were from another planet, his Parfum de Peau as well. ❤
