Hot metal and a hammer should fix my wonky steering but then I have to set up the classic Mini suspension that sits under my Amazing Outspan Orange. This week, having solved the mystery of why my driving orange has been pulling to the right for so many years; I now need to correct a bad fix of some old accident damage. After some heating, bashing, cutting and welding I get the mushed suspension mount back to standard(ish) and then I set up the suspension geometry with some low-tech methods. But, will all of this corrective work finally get this orange oddball back on the straight and narrow?

  1. Love how you make it look so simple and easy to adjust the suspension alignment with a few (mostly basic) tools! Specially considering that some "garages" make a mess of it using those fancy machines with all the bells and whistles 🤦🏻‍♂️

  2. Definitely my favourite episode so far. Has inspired me to get stuck into working on my very own Mini, which I (with supervision from my girlfriend and cat) successfully removed a slightly poorly 1275 engine from yesterday, which will hopefully get rebuilt in the new year. What might help that would be some new tools 😉

  3. Did you build the orange car, great job. Where do I get the the shirt your wearing?

  4. I wonder if the cowboy who did that bracket is watching, and the person who paid him to do the job 🙂

  5. クラッシュディーラーから来ました
    どの車もとても素晴らしかったです

  6. Edd your orange car looks very appealing! Orange you glad your show is berry entertaining? I bet when you step on the gas you get a lot of juice out of that orange! It's nice to vitamin see the lovely countryside. Well I'm plum out of puns…Time to subscribe! Kelly from Canada PS My wife thinks this comment is pretty sweet!

  7. Seen one of these motorised oranges at the James Hall transport museum in Johannesburg. As outspan is a South African company, it is no surprise.

  8. There were a few of these rotting away in a yard just off Berhampstead High street back in the 70s !

  9. Saw the Orange"" in the Pageant. It featured on Australian Television. You were driving past as they were doing a segment for the news.

  10. You probably been asked this a thousand times: Do you know May? AKA Captain Slow….

  11. I have a suspicion that all of the looks my 1973 Volvo 1800ES gets aren't even close to being in the same league of amount of looks that orange attracts. would love to see it in real life one day

  12. Some mission that hahaha , well done Edd ., does the Orange use a lot of juice ? 🙂

  13. Hello Edd and Paul!
Very nice promenade, prooving that you are "unsinkable"!
    Raedy for another navigation?

  14. Really funny would've been to show the car rolling over and off the road from the horrible suspension and instability then show it keep rolling and rolling. Through the British countryside and past well known landmarks then over the cliffs of Dover and then past the Eiffel tower… etc. My first thought was: if it starts rolling there's NOTHING to stop it! LOL. I love your work Edd and this channel is awesome. I learned so much from you on WD especially the existence of special tools! TY!!
