Great list Dacob. Very curious about Chance parfum. I miss the Y2K era haha
I've been only wearing N°5 extrait for a few days now. Such a timeless masterpiece with a spirit and mind of its own. No perfume takes me to places like N°5….
I was at Saks in NYC Thursday and straight to Chanel counter and sampled all the exclusive line. I did try the large bottle of sycamore and I was not impressed. It’s a bit more on the masculine side. But I did think of you. The ones I like out of the exclusive range is Beige and Le Lion. They did not have pure parfum Chanel 5 on their display. Just the regular bottle version of 5 that I didn’t really like. I really love Chanel 5 L’eau because it’s so invigorating and clean. Only issue is the longevity since it’s eau de toilette and of course Coco and Mademoiselle line. Needless to say, I was disappointed with Chanel over at Saks. Not sure if my experience will be any different when I go to the Chanel Atelier’s in NYC. My step mom wears Shalimar and my dad is taking care of her since she has Alzheimer’s. I’m thinking of ordering one or go to Guerlain to try testing myself to honor her.
