I wanted to review a couple of Chanel bottle I blind bought from Mercari and decided to just review everything I had from that designer.

Chanel is so classic, timeless, sophisticated and beautiful, but not every scent of theirs is for everyone.

Here are my unfiltered honest thoughts about these four that I currently have.

  1. I love how our scent memories can be so strong! I have been married 36 years now and it’s one of the first perfumes my husband ever gifted me and is always in my collection ❤️

  2. Hi Arlene! I may have mentioned it before because it’s my favorite winter combo but have you tried Coco Mademoiselle + Vanilla 28 or another straight up vanilla? It’s amazing! It makes it close to the Intense version. But the price is way too high so for now, this combo fills my craving for the Intense.

  3. It was the perfect video for my breakfast this morning! Thank you. 😉 I’m a big Chanel fan! I’m 52 and Gabrielle and all her flankers would be my signature scent if I still had one. Chanel makes my favorite perfumes, I own all of these and I could not go on with my life without them: Gabrielle, Gabrielle Essence, Gabrielle L’Eau (this one is fruity, you might like it!), Chance Eau Vive, Eau Fraîche EDT and EDP and Eau Tendre, Coco Noir, Coco EDP, No.5 L’Eau (I can’t stand the OG!) and Coco Mademoiselle. I tried the new Chance Eau Splendide and it’s not working for me, there is something in in that makes me think of the new rose one by Kayali and this one made me nauseous like hell, so it’s a pass for me. I also had the Original Chance at one point but I was always reaching for the flankers I find more interesting. No.5 Eau Première is one I’d like to try. If it’s more modern than the OG, I’d be interested. Have a great weekend!

  4. You need to sniff No 5 L’eau. It’s a gorgeous citrus take on the chaos no 5. Such a happy scent! 😊

My favourite Chanel perfumes are ones from the Les Exclusif line. Love 1957, Comete, Gardenia. 😊

  5. Coco Mad is ok and Intense is better but I prefer Club De Nuit for Women. It's much less "school marm" and much more "school girl."

  6. Hi Arlene!! 😍😍
Chanel Chance Eau de Toilette was (and kind of still is) my signature scent. I just love it so much! I prefer it over the EDP (which I had) because of the patchouli that is lacking in the EDP. I went through so many bottles I lost count. Around 20 🙈🙊 I also love Chance Eau Fraiche, Gabrielle and Coco Mademoiselle. And a lot of their exclusif line. I just love Chanel DNA… (not Number 5 though lol). My husband wears only Bleu de Chanel for years now. Their oficial Perfumeur Jacques Polge and his son that took over now, Olivier Polge are great masters in my opinion. I just don’t have more fragrances from the house because of the price (but I will lol).

  7. I love love mademoiselle, now I want to try the other ones 😅 I looked Mercari but I get so scared of buying a fake, I don’t know where to start, do you have a favorite seller? O a beginners guide with Mercari? 😂😂🥴

  8. I’ve been thinking about Gabrielle Essence and Noir for awhile. May pull the trigger lol. I have 3 Chanel’s, all from from the Chance line. My 2 faves are eau tendre and eau fraiche, both the EDT versions. So fresh and beautiful!!!! 🩷💚

  9. So i dont have any chanels. My mom used to have chanel 5 but i will say that club de nuit by armaf has a dupe for madmoiselle and its supposed to be right on. I would love you to check it out and do video. Im getting this one coming bc i will not spend money on designers that are over priced. Even tho i know they have been around so long. I find it more fun to find the dupes of cheaper versions and find sucess witj that.

  10. There was Chanel Coco…which i loved on other woman…but on me it smelt a lil too heavy and mature….and i think mabe Coco Noir is in that line…not Coco Mademoisel?
