   Hi Lovely!! ❤️🌹This hasn't arrived down in NZ yet, but will give it a try when it does to have a sniff. I have Gabrielle Essence EDP already, so I might just get No 5 L'eau for Summer instead again.

   I'm still waiting for Valentino Donna Born in Roma The Gold edition to get here, and I would love that for Summer with the Coconut in!! 💛

   My thoughts… the original is headache in a bottle for me, the essence is indeed very nice, I would agree Ange our Demon Le Secret is a very good perfume…I do love Chanel scents, though, I love Cristalle, I love Chanel No 5, I love No 19 (If only it lasted!), and Coco Noir…

    Gabrielle Essence, Mademoiselle Intense, No. 5 (if you don’t mind mature scents) & Chance eau tendre edp are the ONLY Chanel perfumes worth buying. Even coco noir, the one every claims is so unique – is boring as hell.

    Don’t love the Gabrielle line but I really like the Chance line except Tendre, it smells like cheap Calvin Klein and VS scents I have smelled before. Coco Mademoiselle, Coco Noir are nice as well.

    You are so right. When I put my nose on an eyewateringly pricey perfume release that later on proves to have the longevity of a weak body mist, I always wonder like "the audacity!" For me a steady 8-10 hours and a decent projection is absolutely non-negotiable in a perfume (if it's an EDT, I'll settle with 5-6 hours), otherwise I literally feel duped. I'm not ready to pay for a exclusive brand name if there is no substance to it.

    Hi. My three favourite from Chanel and the only three I have are Gabrielle Essence, Chance Eau Tendre and Coco Mademoiselle.

    I think climate has a good part in how a perfume performs. I live in a very dry place, and Gabrielle L’eau last for 7 hours for me, loved it!

    I own Essence and completely agree with you, not just that it performs badly, but the smell itself is just not interesting, personally it reminds me of a cheap air freshener 😁

    When this came out I ordered it for my mums bday with some other bits for myself. When the order arrived the perfume was missing from the box, contacted boots and boots refused to refund me or send a replacement. Been going back and forth with them for months over it and they no longer engage with me now. Such a shame this perfume reminds me off this situation and I will never buy from boots again 😢

    I love this one out of all the gabrielles

    And I love how they did a light version. It smells beautiful and it's lower in toxin so that's a win. I won't feel bad if I spritz on my skin

    Gabrielle L’Eau smells so good! So classy and fresh. My husband actually prefers Gabrielle Essence though. He says L’Eau burns his nose. 😅
