On essential oils — For the past two years, I’ve used Doterra and really love them. Essential oils aren’t regulated by the FDA and many brands sold at the grocery store contain other chemicals and aren’t really pure. Doterra is 3rd party tested to ensure quality, chemical composition etc which I’m into! 😉

I’ve been making videos on this channel since June 2014, but I’ve been watching youtube videos for much longer ;). Before starting this channel as my creative outlet, I was in a major rut and thought the challenge of making a video every week would help. I’m happy to report that it did! Making Youtube videos is now my favorite hobby and I’m excited to see where it can take me in the future.

Do you use essential oils for anything else like cleaning or diffusing? If so, which ones do you use?

Just got my alima pure compact in the mail the other day and I'm in love with it! I'm thinking of getting the loose powder. Have you ever tried it? What shade do you use in the compact?
I love these types of videos. It is helpful to hear why you bring an item as well as what you bring.
I forgot to mention. I saw a video where you can make toothpaste dots with your regular toothpaste for liquid-free traveling. Squeeze out portions onto parchment paper and let dry. Chew them to use with your toothbrush. I haven't tried it because I still have toothpowder but I am intrigued.

Loved the insigth on the products u use. I wanted so much to try Alima Pure powder but since im from Europe the mail is so expensive… the same with the RMS products, any tips u guys? Hi Alli! I recently started watching your channel but I don't think I've commented before. This is one of the best, most thoughtful whats-in-my-travel-toiletries videos I've seen. I travel a lot for work and I'm always interested in tips to do it better. The unscented body balm is a great alternative to body lotion – I'm always picking up travel sizes of unscented Lubriderm, which is not very sustainable :(. Definitely check out the rest of the Glossier line, because not only is the Boy Brow awesome (I'm on my second tube), but the Perfecting Skin Tint is lovely and low-maintenance and comes in a small bottle that never leaks, and the Stretch concealer is really glowy on skin that gets dry from airplanes/cooler weather. Finally, since my best friend is a dental hygienist, I have to leave a friendly reminder to pack dental floss!
