  1. This is probably more of an indictment on me then anything else. I'm 46 and grew up when men did men things and women did women things. I prefer that women are well kept, soft and feminine. I fully support women care and I am thankful for their effort. On the other hand I think us men should be more gritty and calloused. I wash up with cold water lather my $1 shampoo from head to toe and rinse off. If I'm wind whipped or if my hands are beat up I may use some lotion but never sunscreen. I suppose I never really gave much thought to the things talked about in this video. Ignorant as this may all sound I don't think I'm the type of guy who would ever be comfortable having a beauty routine.

  2. I finished Crossroads just last week. I've also read The Corrections which was good.
I appreciate you covering men's skincare. This channel has been helpful for me in treating my oily, acne prone skin.

  3. Thank you, Dr Dray, for addressing this. My husband turns 60 in a few months & Ive been trying to help him with taking better care of his skin overall. Thank you for the Info on the difference between Men & Women’s skin.😉

  4. My skincare routine is very simple because I really do not have the time and energy after 12hour shift work. I just use a Cerave Cleanser and moisturiser plus Sunscreen during the day and then same routine but no sunscreen but rather Retinol at night. The simplier the more I can comply.

  5. I'm at the 1 month mark of taking accutane and I haven't had the major breakout I've seen on the internet. Is it possible not to get it?

  6. I love the jack black spf lipbalm (the shea one). My husband likes the glycolic acid cleanser.

  7. I made a simple skincare routine to my men. LRP toleriane face wash he loves. Other than he's lazy to make routine 😮

  8. Men want to smell like lemon lime soda?? Hahahaha I think you meant to say Irish Spring….not Sierra Mist ;p

  9. I'm a man. I'm not impressed by black packaging and other marketing attempts to differentiate us from our skin care sisters! I go for simplicity. Sunscreen, quality cleanser, and moisturizer in the winter. I'm not into serums, creams, and lotions for cosmetic improvement. Just the basics.

I'm a big fan of Dr Dray and her videos. She's a scientist with a gift for explaining, and a very pleasant person!

  10. Hi, Iv been watching your videos for just a minute and you are so smart w great topics and advise and after watching this vid you are not only charming but also so absolutely adorable. Keep up the great work. Thank you for all your help.

  11. I'm a male and I watch your videos every once an awhile. I have learned a lot about skincare from you and have implemented several items into my skincare routine. One problem that I have though is trouble with using sunscreen for some reason if I sweat the sunscreen will melt and migrate into my eye area and I wind up with awful styes they are so bad and frequent that I opt not to use sunscreen on my forehead region. I was wondering if you have any alternate solution to protect my forehead area… Also, I hope your mom is doing well I miss when you use to have her in your videos.

  12. You only live once. Take care of your skin. I can see how it comes across feminine to men, but it's not bad. What's bad is neglecting your skins health.

  13. Thank you for the insight on men’s skincare. It took me years to finally find stuff that works on my face and body to treat and prevent eczema, rid of acne, bumps, oily skin.
I found a regiment that works. I do change to Vaseline lotion in the winter and now in my 40’s, I no longer have anything I mentioned except once in a blew moon my eczema flares but goes away quickly nowadays.

  14. I wish there was a designated simple skincare brand for men. All i would need is a face wash, moisturiser, spf and hand cream. All unfragranced of course. Any additional ingredients like ceramides, colloidal oatmeal, retinol, vitamin c, etc would be a bonus.

  15. I know you love the Gold Bond company but I used their deep hand lotion during the pandemic and ended up being allergic to it. So I can't use Gold Bond products. I would appreciate if you could recommend a different brand in addition to Gold Bond.
