The safety element of the original Dior Dauvage Elixir perfume is the serial number on the bottom of the bottle … take something sharp and scratch it … if it wipes it is with paint and it is fake … if it remains it is engraved and it is original … more the serial number on the bottom the bottle must be identical to the serial number on the bottom of the box… if this safety element is missing… then you will surely be faced with a fake perfume.

  1. It has to be the same manufacturers and they're just stealing these bottles and 90% of our goods are made in China.

  2. the cap should also spin around by itself whenever you close it to show the logo towards the front. Also the gap between bottle and cap should be a bit more than only 1-2mm

  3. I bought one that the second letter I go chip off but the other three digits and letters are engraved , is it fake ? It took some strength to chip it off also

  4. Plenty of $60 Elixir bottles on eBay. Too bad they never remove them after I report them. So many fakes coming from China.

  5. Just noticed I got a fake one from ebay, look at the last A and E on the real one. The 2nd A the little hole in the A letter in the real one is small, in the fake one the hole is big in the A letter. Same with the last E in Sauvage on the bottle. the middle line in the E is small and in the fake it's longer

  6. Guys don’t scratch it you can feel it by hand the code on the fake is printed on the bottle but the real one is engraved so you can feel if it is fake or real. Don’t ruin ur bottle.

  7. Thanks, now I know the one I have is fake 😭. I traded it for a 50 dollar air compressor anyways 😅. If it’s too good to be true it’s because it is. I wish I would have seen your video sooner 😔👍
