Don't know if it helps scalp psoriasis, but it could NOT HURT! LOVE this soap, and buy it for use at work for all to use – one of my fellow employees has a bottle with an attachment that makes soap into foam, so I put Dr Bronner's into it and it's really nice. It also saves on soap use since it's foamed up already from the dispenser. This is an all organic soap, no weird additives, just good soap. (I bought the peppermint variety in a large container, so it should last awhile). I also have bars of this same soap at home to use, and I recommend this to anyone, without reservation! (:Couldn't hoit!:)
