Sorry to hear about your bestie. Do what you need to do to support her through this. I think you are right on the grey hair/no makeup look. I embraced my grey 1.5 years ago and I do like it. However, I think I adjusted my makeup to bronze/blush up my color more than I ever have before. When I get up in the morning and have no makeup on, I do feel like I look older and I don't feel like I look good until I get some makeup on. I am pretty fair like you. Sometimes I think that I have applied too much blush or bronzer and then look a little later and think I actually need more!! 😅

My cousin had some rare surgery for that cancer. She is in her 60s—from what I remember of your friend, she might qualify. I don’t know much, but I know the person being considered has to be as healthy as possible to endure and survive the surgery. She had it in Dallas—there are not many—as in I think her surgeon is the only one to perform this surgery. My cousin’s odds of living without the surgery was zero—with the surgery, 50%. That was 3 years ago now and she is doing so great. Y’all are in my prayers. If you need, I can inquire further.

I am so sorry about your friend. Thoughts and prayers for her and her family and you. I pray everything positive for her. Sadly I lost my dad to that exact thing. His was from Agent Orange in Vietnam. He served 3 tours.
