I have a full bin’s worth of used products to share my thoughts on with you. If you’re not familiar with what an “empties” video is all about it is where I share products that I’ve used up recently and talk about what I liked or didn’t like about them & if I’ll be repurchasing them. As always, I’d love to know what products you’ve used up recently & if you’ll be repurchasing them. Leave a comment below if you care to share! Check out my coordinating blog post for photos and links. Thanks for watching 🙂

  1. I totally am on the same page with you about the Peel off masks! I watched a video about the Biore mask and the girl used a foundation brush to apply the mask.. I tried this technique and I found it to actually help! It allows it to apply a little more evenly and doesn't get the product all over your hands.

  2. Hi Jen! I'm stopping in the middle of your video to recommend Paula's Choice skincare products. They were quite popular on youtube a while ago (not sure why I didn't jump on the bandwagon earlier) and I just recently tried them because they are unscented and safe for sensitive skin. I honestly recommend them if you're sensitive to scents!
Also, if you're interested in skincare performance, I recommend "The Japanese Skincare Revolution" by Chizu Saeki. A really interesting read which really reminded me of Marie Kondo's book in how things are laid out and explained. There's heavy product placement in the English edition (mostly random images) but the content is really interesting nonetheless.

  3. Mac face products clog my pores within a day, it's crazy! I'll never purchase foundations or powders from them again.. and I find them to give way too much coverage. I do have some discoloration and blemishes here and there but I find my concealer to do a great job at taking care of that!
You should try the Simple micellar water, it is really good! I don't buy Bioderma here in the US because it is ridiculously expensive but I do go back to it when I'm home!
    Hugs coming your way!

  4. I thought I was the only one who just couldn't get on board with washing my hair every other day no matter what! And everyone I've ever told has said 'just persevere – washing your hair too often makes it worse blah blah' so it's nice to know there's other people out there!

  5. I've NEVER been impressed with the body shop scrubs.they are very goopy and clogged my drain pretty badly

  6. I picked up a pack of Blūm wipes randomly in Ross and fell in love. I have extremely sensitive eyes and skin. Burt Bees dries my skin and burns my eyes but these leave my skin still feeling moisturized and my eyes refreshed when removing my makeup. I purchase the individual packets for my carry on bag.

  7. Have you ever tried Mary Kay oil free eye makeup remover. I swear by that stuff! It's ridiculously awesome.

  8. Can u tell what documents do we need for our pets to travel from one location to another

  9. As a make-up artist in training and as a woman with hooded eyes, your eyelids are definitely NOT creepy! I am SUPER envious of them!

  10. RAPIDLASH omg I go through so much and every single day multiple strangers stop me to comment on my lashes.

  11. Hey Jen! I get the same thing with Mac powders when I don't use them in a while, they look like that, lol. Great video! TFS! You are so inspiring!

  12. Do you take advantage of Back to MAC? Where you can take back your used MAC empties for new products?

  13. My aunt always said not my cup of tea and I'm 60. I haven't heard it much lately. Nice to hear old fashioned figures of speech.

  14. I definitely agree with you about The Body Shop's body scrubs! They're almost watery (at least the grapefruit one is that way). I picked up a brown sugar & shea scrub from the Bodycology line at Target and I've loved it. The Treehut one you mentioned is on my list to try next!

  15. I love that your reviews are more real and honest. You like some things, love others, and dislike a few. I've stopped subscribing to other channels because they LOVE everything. I would LOVE everything too if it was free and I got paid to make the video lol

  16. Thanks for the tip about the vinegar and rose water! When are you and Don going to make another cooking video?

  17. <3  Soap and Glory Lime Sugar Crush shower gel, lotion and buttercream!  (also the "Hand Food hand lotion and the Foot cream 'heal genius"  that is insanely moisturizing!)  Totally addicted and got them in a little gift package from Sephora several months ago.  Well, Sephora and Soap and Glory split (not sure why) but we just got back from London and I found the line at a Boots drug store and bought the large sizes (which made my suitcase go over the weight limit!)  Just found out you can get them online at beauty.com….. yay!  So, ran out of the small sample sizes, repurchased with the big daddy mac size of each.  :).

  18. Great video that I really enjoyed watching.
Nice to discover new products that I ve never tested a also know your point of view about them.

  19. I take a spoon of Apple Cider Vinegar everyday….straight!  lol  I was having some ummm personal yeast problems that could not be gotten rid of no matter what prescriptions the doctor gave me.  The cause was being on antibiotics for a couple of weeks.  But anyhow …within a week or so it started to ease up.  I thought nothing could be done and I would have to put up with that issue forever.  Gross and miserable way to be.  But now the apple cider vinegar has taken it away and I also notice that my digestive system is doing better.  I have had those issues for many years but now I have more time of feeling good.  And as NOT fun this subject of personal hygiene is…we all experience it at some time.  I like to know there is hope.  😀

  20. Thanks for doing an empties video.  I look so forward to them.  I wish they were every month!

  21. Hi there 🙂  I just found your channel, and it's fantastic!  Can you tell me what lip colour you're wearing?
