They make really nice products.
I saw a short document-drama about the founder last year. He was an interesting man.
I like bees… 🙂
i use two of his soaps, and i prefer to use bar soap to cut back on plastic. about a year ago i changed everything i use to natural, and i think the most important thing for people to change is deodorant. to whoever is reading this, PLEASE switch over to natural deodorant if you havent already. i prefer making one out of coconut oil, shea butter, baking soda, and arrowroot powder 🙂
Peppermint is awesome. If you get the liquid, you have to get an empty bottle and dilute it down a lot. It will last a good while and is so nice when the peppermint creates a vapor in the hot shower and you breathe it in. I cant use any other soaps. Does anyone recommend any other scents?
trader joe's tea tree tingle body wash is also good and inexpensive
Cool, but our gut (small and large intestine) has aprox. 400 sqm., whereat the skin just has about 2.
I use the tea tree and lavender to wash my dogs. Boyfriend uses it to wash his own hair and rest of body.
I had the citrus one and I love it!!! They're sooooo good products 🙂
I have the lavender and peppermint. I've been wanting to try the citrus. Whenever these run out that's what I'll be getting next. They last forever it seems!
i'm using Dr Bronner's liquid soap for almost 5 years and I'm happy with it! Works perfect and it's VEGAN!
Dr. Bronner's Soap is the ONLY SOAP I USE!!!!!!! You can use the liquid soap for body wash AND Shampoo. There are so many amazing scents like peppermint and almond…2 big bottles should last you for a year, which if you got on sale could be as little as $20! How much does the average person spend on soap and shampoo and conditioner per year, my guess is $50-100. Get on it people! peace.
much too expensive. u can do that stuff urself. its just oil and Potassium Hydroxide (liquid) or Sodium Hydroxide (soap bars) and some Arome-oil. thats it.
washed my long hair with bronners liquid soap once. couldnt even comb it afterwards. HORRIBLE. and when showering with it u get all squeaky. not my cup of tea.
Yeah I already been using this for couple years. Works great, but as well use it just for my hair as well.
Love this stuff; have used it for years. Hits all the ethical marks, too, with a great corporate aesthetic. Thanks for posting this. : )
I use the soap love it ! But not in my hair made it oily looking but on rest of body I'm a fan
Fairly expensive, $4.69 a bar plus shipping. Youtube must be quite lucrative for you.
I use it. It is great for people with dreadlocks as it doesn't leave behind any residue like conventional shampoos do. I used to use baking soda/apple cider vinegar to wash my hair but been using Dr. Bronners liquid soap for over a year now.
I find it is best to dilute the liquid soap at least a 1:10 ratio with water.
I bought them all in the smallest sizes to try out and see which ones I liked. My favorite is Almond…smell reminds me of cherry nibs. If I want citrus, I just use the unscented and add a few drops of orange essential oil. So you can just make your own scented ones with whatever essential oils you like.
I recently bought the Sal Suds to use for washing dishes and regular cleaning. Has a nice pine smell and works really well.
I have almost every scent of this soap and my body starts itching after my shower. Do you dilute it? I've tried mixing with vitamin e oil and coconut oil and water but it doesn't help.
Haven't tried it yet but have heard nothing but good things about it and that it has a million uses. Does anyone know if it is safe to use on animals?
would love to hear your thoughts on this article http://www.npr.org/blogs/thesalt/2015/01/22/378920980/for-more-nutrients-drink-oj-or-eat-an-orange-it-s-not-so-clear-cut
I use it !
Love this stuff
I use the peppermint soap in the shower and dilute it with water into foam pumps at my bathroom and kitchen sinks for washing hands. Trader Joe's has the best price at under $12 a bottle! But hey only carry peppermint.
Love Dr. Bronner soap!!!
I eliminated the need for deodorant after becoming vegan. I literally have no body odor now. How cool is that???!!!
I always hated that junk anyway. It was sticky and gooey. And full of bad chemicals.
Deodorant nixed!
Veganism rocks!!!
you should do a video about hemp
i use Dr Bronners peppermint for body wash 🙂 I also use a shampoo bar on my hair J.R. Liggett coconut and organ oil. It is amazing! 🙂
Agreed! Your skin is your second stomach. About 20% of all that goes inside your body is absorbed through the skin. I've been using Dr Bronner's for ages. Great video!
I <3 Dr. Bronner's Soaps
I use the bar soap to make natural laundry detergent! Love Dr. Bronner's 🙂
I use Nesti Dante soaps, they are also awesome!
bananiac where can I buy the tshirt you are wearing?
I love it but I can't find it anywhere
Good stuff! Switched to this for body and hair about 7 or 8 months ago!
I've never tried the citrus one since it just came available in our area. But I do love the Eucalyptus one- it doesn't need to be mixed with water like some of the others. So, it is great in a hot shower for clearing the sinuses in the winter months. I also love the story behind the creator – you can see it on their main website. So moving!
I have the peppermint castile liquid one ($15 from Wal-greens) and LOVE IT. I've had it for about three months, and still no where near gone. I use it as natural toothpaste and in the shower,
I love this brand and have been using it awhile as well.
I use Dr. Bronner's lavender hemp Castile bar soap and the peppermint. The peppermint opens my sinus's up and if I'm congested it opens my chest up. Also they both smell great! I love the sayings on the labels also.
Thank you.
Anything that goes on your skin does "NOT" get absorbed into your body , that is why we have to inject medicines , skin applicable vaccines and medicines are very new yet few as many molecules will not get through. So this guy has not a fucking clue what he is talking about, this is basic high-school biology and he is ignorant of it!!
there's palm oil in the soap
I use the pepermint bar for my face
I love peppermint I created my own liquid Castile soap my own version of dr bronner's. Consist of coconut oil, palm kernel, olive oil, sweet almond, wheatgerm, citric acid, rosemary extract, peppermint and rosemary essential oil with 2% super fat. I love this all in one soap
I've been using Dr bronners over 30 years now for everything. But the peppermint I only use for my teeth and hair. He started with the peppermint, which was very concentrated and they started diluting it.
I bought a lip balm from Dr. Bronner with ginger and orange , among other interesting ingredients like Cannabis Sativa Oil. It has healed my almost bleeding lips and I recommend it bc is great
only use Dr Bronner's liquid
Arsenic is natural and easy to pronounce. Toxicity of chemicals is not dependent on their being natural or synthetic nor your linguistic abilities.
I used this for the first time this week! I used it to scrub my carpets, shower, do dishes, laundry, and clean my house and brush my teeth! Im a total fan now!
