   I bought a classic flap after their last increase. I paid $9800 aud for a small classic flap. It was faulty, the pocket was way over to the left. They replaced it but I really won’t shop with them anymore. It’s getting stupid.

   I agree he is so handsome and today looks amazing! Such a sweetheart. I wonder if you will ever touch on cosmetics like YSL, BY TERRY, ARMANI, CHANEL. I know you would be fabulous discussing cosmetics.

   I can not wear any Chanel fragrance. I love Fracas by Robert Piguet, Blushing by Norell and Vanilla 28 Kaylie Huda Beauty.

   Why is their costume jewelry so expensive? I do not wear costume jewelry. I would think it will turn color not being real. I used to be huge with Chanel but they never discount their cosmetics yet YSL AND BY TERRY DOES AND I WAS ALL CHANEL COSMETICS BUT THEIR MAKEUP IS BORING IN BLACK PLASTIC AND GOLD. They need to update their cosmetics cases. I did buy their lipstick in no color with the camellia flower and the pop to get the lipstick out.

   I love your news anchor personality. Unfortunately to be the bearer of bad news and pls don’t shoot the messenger, but I think it is due to inflation that these prices are increasing. And I 💯% agree with the description about the 19 being a BV knockoff w/the not so my taste hardware.

   i think it can be put honestly and simply by saying chanel is not down for one of the types of customers that has been buying their bags over these many, many years.. based off seeing some types of people who carry their classic bags.. this is the customer that is probably just going in and buying the classic bag and they’re never in the boutique ever again… and if they return, it’s for a card holder or costume jewelry earrings… if they’re going to have these customers, chanel is probably thinking why not just maximize profits… i don’t agree with this idea but they are a business.. and do we really expect anything less from the business side 😐 i am especially not ok with this sentiment because you see or read all of the time of people saying they’re treating so rudely when shopping.. that is very disheartening and never been my own experience but i’ve heard it an amount of times that i do believe it happens often enough (which is even one time too often). the air of the boutique should not be to be cold to these types of “aspirational” shoppers… a high jewelry and clothing client should be treated the same as the one time classic flap shopper.. unfortunately money talks too much.. it’s nice for the extras as a “special” client but let’s at least be consistent in respectable treatment— esp with those prices of bags! Sorry for the rambling.. P.S. it always perturbs me when people say oh they’ll just go buy Hermès… yeah sure… and also, dacob, have you been into see pre spring? I’d really love to discuss the rtw selections with you 😅 I’ll try to make it on the next stream you have..

    I just bought the brand new WOC golden glass for a hefty price cause I was told that it will increase about $500 more.And it didn’t go up that much.Should have waited and got the small classic instead.

    Something you should know, a little birdie told me that Chanel staff get invited to private Chanel sales and they can buy wallets bags and all sorts of goodies for heavily discounted prices, like at 5 or 10% of retail price (which I think is the actual worth of the items), for example a $1500 wallet they can get for $150 or less. That’s a nice thing they do for staff but in the meantime they are really ripping off the rest of the world.

    I am over Chanel ..I am saving up for my house and to decorate it no more bags for now ..but love to hear fashion news…at this rate these bags will be 20k soon..not worth it

    People are unfortunately buying into that high end luxury non sense without questioning the true value of the products, or necessarily getting the quality and craftsmanship that should be associated with them. It is all down to perception and psychology, marketing strategies and advertisement that lead to these overinflated prices. There are loads of small garment, accessories or leather goods brands, that can offer the same if not higher quality products, beautiful designs and craftsmanship. The only difference is, you won't be getting the Chanel logo (it's perceived value)
