  1. What are your thoughts now that I’ve done a follow up on this product. Would you use it ? Or is it a no for you?

  2. Did you condition it with after you shampooed it? If so what products did you use? I'm curious if that was caused itchiness since the soap is made up of a bunch of oils

  3. I discovered you're supposed to do an apple cider vinegar rinse after using castile soap because it changes the pH of your hair. After the ACV rinse, do a deep condition to restore moisture.

  4. Im sat here deep conditioning just after washing with the tea tree one but I did do an ACV rinse after I washed. My scalp is feeling amazing and hair is moisturised. We are hair twins btw 💁🏾‍♀️ same texture.

  5. I just used it a few days ago. WORST PRODUCT EVERRR for hair. My scalp felt like I had ants marching back and forth. So itchy! I saw lots of build up even after I just washed it that same day and my strands had a waxy film over it. . The next day, I wanted to scratch my scalp raw. I tried my best not to touch my head. The third day, I couldn't take it. I washed my head with my favorite shampoo and conditioner like I've always done for over 2 decades. I could not believe how much hair fell out. About 500 to 700 strands. I even used diluted ACV after the castile soap. It didn't do anything. Castile soap is definitely not meant for the scalp unless you want to clog your pores and to go bald. It made my skin feel soft though… BUT if it did that to my scalp, how is it any better for my body? I immediately washed everything that touched my head.. pillows, sheets, blankets. I wasn't risking it. I made sure my entire family washed that crap off. My scalp couldn't even breathe. When I washed it again 3 days later, my scalp felt like it was alive again… like it took a deep breath of fresh air after being suffocated. Never again.

  6. Your scalp was itching because the peppermint soap increased the blood flow to your scalp thus promoting new
Hair follicles and growth hence the shedding of dead hair follicles making room for new ones. Basically the intense
Itching is new hairs piercing through the skin. ….Your hair is growing thicker and denser. Peppermint is a stimulant.

  7. Thanks for sharing this video. I tried kirk's coconut gentle Castile soap bar for my last 2 wash days and it made my hair softer and easier to detangle. Yes my scalp was a bit itchier than usual but I really like how hair felt so I will use it again. I plan to make a scalp soothing spray from black or green tea, aloe Vera gel and essential oils of tea tree, eucalyptus and rosemary – for the itchy scalp

  8. Years ago I used this on my hair for months, no bueno, super dry and took so long to detangle, I've never done it again. I still use it as a body wash and all over my house for everything. Your story about screaming was funny, subscribed.

  9. I started using this product and the first day before I used it my mom told me to only use it on my scalp once or twice and NOT TOO MUCH because it’s makes your hair dry and it’s really strong so u can’t use a lot. But it’s been reallyyyy helping me with the bit of dandruff I got. My hair sheds a bit from it and I guess bc the soap has peppermint oil so it makes the blood flow.

  10. This shampoo is good but leaves my hair feeling so hard and stiff so I had to use extra conditioner after lol

  11. I think you had a lot of shed & intching because the peppermint soap is a great scalp detoxifier that helps to clean & open plugged pores. I use it as both a hair & scalp clarifying shampoo.

  12. Huge mistake to wash my hair with this soap. It made my hair super dull and coated it with a horrible residue that didn't wash out when I washed my hair again with my usual shampoo. Even after using conditioner, it was impossible to comb it and detangle. After drying it with my blow dryer, the curling iron wouldn't slide smoothly over my hair as usual. I have straight hair which is normally shiney. This soap may be good for one's body because it's natural, but I will NEVER use it on my hair again! Terrible.

  13. I use it once a month as a clarifier. I follow it up with a moisturizing shampoo and deep conditioner. My wash and go comes out fantastic!

  14. Love your videos!!!!

It depends people hair is different I do notice a shade but never itchy feeling but I use the soap and after I use my home girl aloe vera and coconut oil mix before a complete dry it worked because I had a bald spot in the front and now it’s filled in

  15. I tried dr. Jacobs liquid castille soap in rose. I couldn't believe i could comb my hair after. It actually didn't lather great. But I worked it in good enough. I couldn't believe i put all that oil in my hair without greasiness. It felt so good. They made a new formula, thats more dilutable. I guess mine was their old formula. But it sure didn't strip it in any way. And I plan to use it every other shampoo also alternating with the OGX biotin collegen shampoo. My hair is in better shape. It really is.

  16. I use the Dr. Bronner's Sugar soap as my shampoo and have never had a problem. I also use the hair moisturizer in lavendar scent. Lovely!! Maybe people use too much. I only need one pump on the bottle and I am fine.

  17. It’s the only shampoo I use I never have itchy scalp but the shedding is mabe because I feel like my hair grows more and faster with this

  18. I jus got this and using SheaMoisture Strengthen and Restore Conditioner 100% Pure Jamaican Black Castor Oil with Shea Butter, Peppermint and Apple Cider Vinegar

  19. Yes, dries my hair out, not for 4c hair, I use it all over my body everyday though:). Not for my hair ever ever ever again!

  20. Hey. Just a thought maybe you may have been allergic to one of the ingredients in the soap . Hence the itchy scalp and hair shed. 🤷🏾‍♀️

  21. It's a concentrate, your supposed to dilute it 1 to 3 water or even more. Learn to read whats written on the bottle first.
It's literally written that it's a concentrate DILUTE,castile soap is supposed to be diluted and mixed with other ingredients to create a shampoo. You literally need 1-2 small drops for the full head wash,I bet you used it like regular shampoo.
Why do you think it costs so much? because out of it you can get 4 more bottles or actual shampoo.

  22. I have always used it on my locs, my kids locs for over 18 years. I love it and it promoted hair growth, cleaning and strength. ❤
